Guest User🏨 **About the Hotel:**
This low-density resort, converted from an old schoolhouse, boasts 23 rooms with a charming blend of Suzhou and Japanese architectural styles. The facilities and service are top-notch, making it the perfect place to unwind.
🛏 **Room & Service:**
We booked a courtyard room, which was spacious and quiet at 80 sqm.
✅ **180° Floor-to-Ceiling Windows:** Perfect for lounging in bed and gazing at the misty bamboo forest. The mini-bar offers complimentary Evian and Perrier.
✅ **Service:** Expect a free fruit platter daily and a complimentary 'goodnight soup' in the evenings. Staff are incredibly responsive – ginger tea is brought to you immediately after a swim, and a shuttle is ready whenever you need to head out.
✅ **Amenities:** The hotel offers a home theater, bar, heated pool, gym, billiards, a book bar, and a fantastic restaurant (it’s delicious and totally changed my perception of Jiangnan cuisine!). You can also borrow bicycles. It’s an all-inclusive experience, so you barely need to leave the property, though the spa is still under construction.
There are also rice paddies and cherry blossoms; it must be stunning in autumn and spring. I’d love to come back!
🍽 **Dining:**
You absolutely must try the 'Mountain and Wilderness' cuisine at Liyuan Restaurant. Many dishes require a day’s advance booking. The braised goose was incredibly tender, and the 'Yan Du Xian' soup was incredibly flavorful. Breakfast can even be delivered to your room – enjoying breakfast in bed while looking at the bamboo forest is incredibly relaxing.

The room design was great, and both the elderly and children loved it. They even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The room had a smart smart control system and underfloor heating. Both the indoor and outdoor views were fantastic, especially the hot spring in the bamboo forest. The service was excellent; they responded immediately to every request, even late at night – thank you so much to the young man! Initially, the guesthouse had stopped providing underfloor heating for the first few days of our stay because it was getting warmer, but on the day we arrived, it got a bit cold, and my child liked to walk on the floor without slippers. The owner kindly turned the heating back on – thank you!
We had dinner at the guesthouse: chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots, and braised catfish. The auntie cooked it very well; my elders still rave about it afterward, haha. Breakfast was rather home-style, but the auntie's soft-boiled eggs were delicious, and the young man's hand-drip coffee was also very good.
One small suggestion: could the guesthouse consider allowing guests to choose between regular towels and disposable towels in the future? My child only made this suggestion about the towels, haha. Also, it would be even better if there was an absorbent mat in the bathroom.
Overall, it's good, pet-friendly, and I recommend it.

Anonymous UserMy partner and I stayed at the Banyan Tree Anji for our vacation, and our butler, Summer Shen, provided incredibly warm and attentive service. She understood our vacation needs and suggested hotel activities perfectly suited for couples. Throughout our stay, she was very responsive, doing her best to fulfill all our requests, big and small. She was also very discreet, never being intrusive. The hotel has a fantastic ambiance, with beautiful mountain scenery perfect for photos, and enjoying the private hot spring was wonderfully relaxing. Thanks to Summer's meticulous service, we have very fond memories of our holiday.

Anonymous UserThe room is very clean, comfortable and hygienic. Children like it very much, but I feel it is more suitable for couples because the design of the bathroom is a bit inconvenient for parent-child families. There is also a bathroom on the first floor, but there is no shower. Parents of the opposite sex have to take a shower in advance. Other than that, it is almost full marks. The service is very, very, very good. The brothers are very handsome and the sisters are also very beautiful. They have a strong sense of service. The housekeeper is responsive to every request. A care package is provided every day, which is a canvas cosmetic bag that can be taken away. The toiletries are lelabo, and there are enough drinks. The restaurant is not big, so make reservations in advance. The food is very delicate and the taste is good. Afternoon tea and hot spring bath are also provided. It is very, very, very comfortable!

For work reasons, I chose Manwanhua. The environment was exceptional, and I felt like I was on vacation. The tea plantations and buildings coexist harmoniously, and the infinity pool, reflecting the Metasequoia trees, creates a modern, stylish atmosphere. The housekeeping was proactive, responsive, and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and the metal fence around the pool was a creative way to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. In the evening, the breeze blew, and gazing at the stars was a relaxing experience.

Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort — A Hidden Maritime Dream Among Mountains, Lakes and Tropical Gardens
Stayed: 19–20 June
This is not just a hotel — it is a revelation.
A true hidden gem in Anji, the Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort feels like stepping aboard a luxury liner that has quietly anchored itself in a world of bamboo forests and still, reflective waters. The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea.
From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike.
The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered.
Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated.
The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat.
What makes this place unforgettable is its setting: tranquil and secluded, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything Anji has to offer. You feel away from the world, but never far from it.
To stay here is to experience something rare — a place that doesn’t try to impress, yet quietly outshines everything around it. Many nearby hotels feel conventional by comparison; this one feels imagined, designed, and delivered with vision.
11/10 – beyond expectations, beyond category.
A destination I would not just recommend, but insist on.
Without question, one of my top travel discoveries for 2026.
As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds.
What followed was unforgettable.
We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive.
Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself.
At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky.
To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below.
Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey.
A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience.
Simply unforgettable.

zoelarryThis guesthouse is centrally located in the Grand Canyon, offering breathtaking views of the rainy canyon and sea of clouds right from your doorstep. The young butler was lively and enthusiastic, helping with luggage upon arrival. Check-in at the front desk was swift, and they explained all the essential information. They also offer services like booking a photographer and pre-ordering dinner. It's clear they prioritize hygiene here; the towels were pristine and neatly organized, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation. The room even included disposable toilet and bathtub covers, plus disinfectant wipes, which really put my mind at ease regarding cleanliness. The butler was very responsive to messages, and in the evening, they delivered a complimentary sweet soup and sleep mask to the room. The restaurant served food quickly, and the stir-fried dishes had that wonderful 'wok hei' aroma. I highly recommend the pickled vegetable, mushroom, and shredded pork dish – I ordered it multiple times! The staff were very accommodating; I asked for extra dried tofu, and they specially sourced it for my dish. The basement has a good amount of space, and the mahjong room is air-conditioned with a ventilation system and a fast automatic card dispenser. I'd definitely choose to stay here again with friends if I get the chance. Oh, and they even provided a travel guide at check-out. I had two comfortable and relaxing days here.

Guest UserThis Club Med is truly a hassle-free option for family trips.
🥐 Regarding dining and space
The breakfast was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the quality was consistently high. The kids loved it, and the adults were satisfied too. The room was very spacious, with an extra-wide bed, plenty of room for a family of four. The children had ample space to play in the room, and it never felt crowded.
🎉 Regarding parent-child activities
It truly lives up to its reputation as the ultimate family resort! There were so many activities. Our children weren't old enough for the kids' club (it's for ages 4 and up), but I'm sure it would have been even more fun for them to play with other kids, and it would have given the adults a break. The evening activities were especially fantastic. Every night there were different themed shows and parties, with the G.O.s singing and dancing. My two kids were mesmerized, dancing along with them, and the atmosphere was wonderful! The children didn't want to leave until very late.
💖 Special thanks to GRO Eric
Special thanks to our GRO Eric! He took care of us meticulously from check-in to check-out. When he learned we had booked two rooms, he specifically arranged generous fruit platters for both. Knowing we had two children, he also provided extra milk. These thoughtful details truly touched us!
In summary, this was a trip where everyone in the family, young and old, was satisfied. Highly recommended for all families with children!

This Anji Little Forest B&B is perfect for travelers with furry friends! They don't charge a deposit or a pet cleaning fee. The owner has a Labrador named Koala 🐨, who's a really gentle big brother and played happily with our dog. The courtyard is surrounded by bamboo, and the air is incredibly fresh. If the sun were to shine through the leaves, the whole atmosphere would be so relaxing. Unfortunately, it rained when we were there, so we got to listen to the rain falling on the bamboo. Our room had a terrace and an outdoor bathtub 🛁, which I would have definitely used if the weather hadn't been so cold.
The owner is very easygoing and pet-friendly; our dog had an absolute blast. When traveling with a dog, I always prioritize B&Bs run by fellow dog owners – if you know, you know. The surrounding attractions are all pretty close and easily accessible by car. The best part is the bamboo chicken stew here in Anji – it's incredibly fragrant and delicious in every bite! You can search Gaode Maps for local restaurants that locals frequent. I'll definitely come back next time! We also went to a paragliding base cafe on the hillside, but things were a bit pricey, and the view wasn't great due to the rain. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to come back in the summer to enjoy some water activities.

Guest UserThis summer weekend, we took our kids on a family trip, and I have to say, the service at Starlight Hotel was exceptional throughout! Our butler, Yolo, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She contacted me in advance with all the key check-in information and patiently answered every single one of my questions.
Upon arrival at the reception center on check-in day, after completing the check-in process, a hotel shuttle took us to the cable car entrance. (Friendly tip: You can buy adult cable car tickets in advance. Children over 1.2 meters also need a ticket.) The hotel is located on the mountain, and after reaching the top via cable car, another hotel shuttle will take you directly to the hotel. We didn't have to worry about a thing!
For activities, the 'Cloud Top Grassland' with its blue skies and white clouds was simply stunning in the summer. We were even lucky enough to see a rainbow 🌈 and some sheep passing by! We went grass-sledding, which the kids absolutely loved. There's also a 'Children's Paradise' suitable for younger kids, and various other recreational facilities to choose from. Even if you don't want to do anything active, just lying down and watching the clouds and scenery is a pure delight, looking at the rolling green hills in the distance – it was truly a 'Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains' painting come to life! We watched the sunset and sunrise, and in the evening, there was a drone show that was absolutely spectacular. It was a joyful and fulfilling day!
As for dining, there's a buffet, a Chinese restaurant, and other food outlets like Papa John's and Honeymoon Desserts. There's also a Luckin Coffee in Xianxia Town.
