Libo Hotels with Bars

Of all the places I visited on this trip, Libo was the most satisfying. Before coming to Guizhou, I rarely chose guesthouses, whether for business or leisure, because the quality of a guesthouse really tests the owner's ability and character, including key aspects such as cleanliness, price, and reasonable room conditions. Yu She's rooms were excellent in terms of layout and cleanliness, the view from the windows was beautiful, and the common areas were well-equipped and well-furnished. I really liked the wet rice noodles for breakfast. Getting around, taking taxis, and finding restaurants nearby were all very convenient. It was also very quiet at night, which was great for light sleepers. I'm very grateful to the owner for the complimentary bayberry soup. I will definitely visit Libo again if I have the chance!

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

The hotel service was absolutely fantastic, making us feel like royalty for two whole days! 😂 They provided transportation to and from the scenic spots daily, and we even got to enjoy a lovely foot bath in the evenings. Our room offered a stunning view of the Zhangjiang River, surrounded by lush greenery, which was incredibly refreshing. The complimentary BBQ was super fresh, and the beef noodles for breakfast were hands down the best we had throughout our entire Guizhou trip! The only minor downside was the bathroom layout – it felt a bit cramped, and the doors for the shower and toilet were awkwardly close. Also, the sink drained a bit slowly. However, these small issues didn't detract from the overall excellent experience. This guesthouse is highly recommended! 👍

The place is beautiful and everything in the room was so modern and comfortable. The manager even picked us up from nearby location when we didn’t get a cab. The food was also customised to suit preferences. I wish I had more time, I’d love to stay for more days. The whole team was so hospitable and helpful. Whatever we needed was arranged as per requirement. I miss the kids of the family so much. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back in future. One of the best hotels i have been to yet in China. Friendly staff, friends owners. So clean and everything is brand new. If you just want a get away for a few days highly recommended. They have everything in house not ahort of anything. The bar is fully stocked up with local and foreign drinks, awell as the breakfast its great its chinese cuisine with a touch of western, with sausages and bacon. In a nutshell you better book your stay here.

Perfect for a family getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. We had a child with us, and they didn't charge extra for the food our little one ordered. Overall, it offers great value for money. The package included afternoon tea, a Yao ethnic group bath, and a barbecue in the evening. Staying in the courtyard made time feel like it slowed down, and enjoying a barbecue and a drink in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It’s ideal for escaping the city.

Great stay at this lovely BnB. The rooms are modern and very spacious. Breakfast showcases local speciality noodles that are paper thin and very fresh. Highlight for me was the coffee provided with breakfast. Made in barista style, rich and strong, a perfect cuppa to start my day! The proprietor and her team are super friendly and helpful. We would recommend this accommodation and this town to anyone visiting the region.

I had booked another hotel in Libo, but when I drove to the lobby, it looked dark, so I immediately checked out. I searched on Ctrip and found Century Garden Hotel, which is located next to the Municipal Square. The parking lot is ample, and there is a large charging parking lot next to it. The two interns at the front desk were very professional and upgraded the room. The room was large, facing the Red Boat Square, with a good view. The hotel is not very new, but the basic facilities are well maintained, and the breakfast is also OK.

Five-star review! A full five stars is a must! My stay was truly wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean; the bed was spotless, and the bathroom was free of water stains and odors, making me feel safe and secure. The courtyard and hallways are cleaned daily, keeping the environment clean and tidy. The owner's service was incredibly warm and attentive; they were always there for me if I needed anything during check-in, and were genuinely welcoming. The service was exceptionally attentive! There's a food street just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to eat and shop for snacks—meals are never a problem. The environment is quiet and pleasant, and it's convenient for getting around. Excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended! Service: The staff were very friendly and handled any issues promptly. Cleanliness: So-so, acceptable. Environment: Overall, passable, much better than older hotels and guesthouses in the area. Facilities: Fairly complete. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but it's convenient for getting to the old town. Bar: Only provided for one day out of two, including the fruit.
