PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

Because I rarely stay in B&Bs, I was quite concerned about the hygiene of this hotel. But it truly exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, absolutely on par with high-end five-star hotels. All the toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the citrus scent was delightful. The bedding was comfortable, with just the right firmness, and the duvet was perfectly weighted – very thoughtful details. The service was superb; from the moment I parked my car, staff members were there to help with luggage and even hold an umbrella. There were plenty of parking spaces, and branded EV chargers were available. Before heading out, the front desk would arrange electric scooter rentals, delivered right to the hotel entrance. The complimentary drinks at the front desk, complete with ice, were always available – truly, having stayed in hotels both domestically and internationally, the convenience and overall experience here are top-tier. There aren't many rooms, so service is prompt, and the soundproofing is excellent. The views were astonishing from the moment I walked in.
Every single detail was fantastic, making this one of the warmest hotel experiences I've ever had. It was so great, I'd genuinely love to extend my stay if I had the time. It's so good that if I ever bring my children and elderly parents, I will absolutely, without a doubt, choose this place again.
I hope they continue to thrive and their business prospers! I heard they're opening in Chongzuo, and I'll definitely visit if I get the chance.

GGuest UserThis villa is absolutely amazing, the entire design is just my style. There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier.
I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience!
And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!

GGuest UserThis hotel is right inside West Street, which makes shopping and finding food incredibly convenient. It's also very close to all the main attractions. The room was great, I really liked it, and the hotel facilities were excellent and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff had a great attitude too. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Yangshuo.

DELIGHT!!!! OH MY GAD!!! A premium hotel! 100% privacy with nature! The hotel's design is so thoughtful that you feel right at home! Built in an old sugar factory, it makes a huge impression! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE HOTEL STAFF, JACK!!! He should be the hotel manager!!! He is so sociable and always helped me and told me everything. Thanks to him, I have the best vacation and very delicious pasta!!) Wonderful hotel employee LUCY is simply charming, she immediately signed me up for a ride on bamboo rafts and did a fireworks display 🎆!!!! She told me everything about the history of the hotel and I bought the book!!!! I dream of building a hotel in Russia!!! And this trip was a great inspiration for me!!!!! Outside the window, it's like a landscape painting; just sitting quietly with a pot of tea, watching the clouds and mist drift through the mountains. The owner is very welcoming, and the whole atmosphere is relaxing and healing, making all your worries disappear. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax – once you're here, you won't want to leave! The hotel also offers a complimentary travel photoshoot, and the results were great with excellent service from the photographer.

GGuest UserOne of the best home stays I’ve stayed in for a while! The owners are so welcoming and the wife went out of her way to make me lovely food, drive me down to the ferry crossing and offer me advice for local hikes.
This is perfect for people who want to get away from the busy and touristy old town. It’s tucked away on the side of a mountain with gorgeous views of the Li river.
There is also an incredible hike up Damian mountain, built by the owners themselves! The owners will give you really easy instructions to reach the steps that take you up to the platform at the top. It’s also on the correct side of the river for the much busier Xianggong sightseeing platform.
Here are a few things to note:
- This is not close to anything else and will require you to get a ferry from Xingping old town for 5 yuan and pay someone to drive you up the mountain to the home stay
- Alternatively you can walk up in about 40 mins which is a very peaceful.
- They have some really friendly pets, a cat and 2 dogs. But just be aware if you’re not an animal person, but the dog will lead you up part of the path for the hike up Damian mountain!

NNaixin17Yangshuo has so many hotels and guesthouses, it's easy to get overwhelmed browsing through them on Ctrip! Every single one looks so exquisite and beautiful 🤩. I stumbled upon this hotel-style guesthouse by chance; it had just opened, and its decor deeply attracted me – grand, yet full of character. The room felt very spacious, and directly opposite was the impressive statue of the lead actress from 'Impression Liu Sanjie', offering expansive, bright, and very comfortable views!
**Facilities:** As a newly opened guesthouse, the facilities are all excellent. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and effort into the design and amenities! 👍👍👍
**Service:** Honestly, it's impeccable. The young ladies working there are visibly energetic and very enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They frequently message to ask if we need anything and tell us to let them know if we require any assistance! Guesthouse service nowadays truly surpasses the standards of five-star hotels – at least, it always evokes a strong sense of satisfaction; it's incredibly thoughtful and meticulous ❤️❤️🫶🫶🤩🤩🫰🫰🫰 Thumbs up to the ladies who served us these past few days! 👍
**Food:** Breakfast is included and offers a rich variety, covering both Chinese and Western options. Everything you'd expect is well-prepared. (The auntie working there is so warm, always greeting us with a smile every morning, asking how we slept and if we need any help, etc.) Yangshuo rice noodles 🍜 are a must-have every morning; the broth is pure, and it feels so comforting and warm in the stomach. The roasted pumpkin is also fantastic, sweet and soft. Millet porridge with some pickles, Western-style lettuce, corn, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas with a bit of dressing, fried eggs, omelets, toast, bread, small desserts, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fruit bar – the breakfast quality is absolutely good enough for foreign guests 👍👍🫰🫰🫶🫶🤩🤩
**Overall:** Apart from a minor flaw in the guest room, everything else is beyond reproach – truly excellent. The service is great, breakfast is great, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel are fantastic. If you love taking photos 🤳 for your social media, this hotel is definitely your top choice; it's very photogenic, every shot looks like a masterpiece! KKuailedexiaomaIf I hadn't booked this hotel, I wouldn't have dared to visit Yangshuo during the May Day holiday. We stayed for 3 nights in a Riverside Balcony Room, and it was a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful landscape. The hotel is a bit old, and the decor is certainly dated, with small rooms. However, there were no strange odors, the bedding was clean and tidy, and the shower had good water pressure and drained well, though the water temperature occasionally fluctuated between hot and cold.
The hotel's location is superb, situated along the most beautiful stretch of the Yulong River, very close to the bank – truly a unique spot. Other similar scenic hotels might have river views but lack good mountain views, or vice-versa.
From the hotel, it's about a ten-minute walk to the Shuie Di Pier to catch a bamboo raft, and a 20-minute walk to Gongnong Bridge. Even if you don't venture out, the hotel restaurant is excellent. We ate there for three consecutive days without repeating a dish. The portions were generous, the food delicious, and service was fast. Prices were slightly higher than outside stalls and restaurants, but the cleanliness and taste made it completely acceptable. It would be even better if they offered some meal vouchers during promotions.
I would definitely want to come back.
