I really enjoyed my stay at Apsor Palace Hotel. It’s in a very convenient location, just a short distance from the Royal Palace and nearby shopping. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. A comfortable and pleasant experience overall.

Mike TohIt's an interesting hotel for young folks. Design is modern but clean lines. The staff is very attentive and decided to keep help turn on the Aircon in the room that was given because she knew it might be a bit warm from the sun. Kudos to the lady at the front desk that day.
There is a nice cafe just across the street and I will definitely book this again!

Anonymous UserLocation: at center of Phnom Penh, easily reach by grab.
Room: neat and clean, size wise just ok, I get a nice view of Mekong river.
Breakfast: variety not much but just ok you can request staff for additional egg menu.
Staff: really friendly and greet you everytime. Shoutout to the breakfast staff who check with you everytime.
Improve: although the towel is clean but it looks old and some have light yellowish stain which believes unable to wash out. It visible to naked eye. Which really unpleasant.

Hotel KVL is a solid city base in Phnom Penh with a good location and views over the Mekong River. It’s close to the main bar area and a weekend street market, but that also means the road in front is closed from around 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, so it’s worth checking how that might affect your arrival or departure. Make sure you get the exact room type you booked, as there can be discrepancies, and note that the water pressure is on the weaker side, though everything else in the room works well. Breakfast is decent with enough variety, and overall the hotel offers a nice urban contrast to the resort feel of the Park Hyatt in Siem Reap.

Le Botum was a fantastic surprise in Phnom Penh. Very close to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. We had a spacious room with via from the balcony and alle was very clean. We loved the friendly staff and the roof top swimming pool. We really recommend Le Botum Hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is safe, comfortable, and conveniently situated in the Riverside district. It has a good cost performance (i.e. price-to-quality ratio). Not everything is perfect, but the staff makes up for it, they are friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Nita who is fantastic, she is the nicest person and she helped me with all my requests).
I originally booked a basic room until I found out a few days ahead the room had no window (I did not read the description carefully enough), so I upgraded for a “standard double room” with window. The first room I moved into did not have hot water. The hotel was not able to fix it, so eventually they moved me to another room where the hot water worked, which was great. The room did not have a chair and desk, but I asked the staff and they brought one. At some point, Nita helped me arrange a laundry load. It was done overnight and cost 3 dollars, so it seems the laundry is outsourced to a nearby business.
At night, the street can be a little loud, there are many bars, KTVs and nightclubs located here. But it did not bother me, I could sleep through it easily. Many of the bars have hordes of pretty women who, beginning at dusk, sit outside and come ask you to drink with them. They get your attention by shouting “hello”, “come here”, “handsome” and “bong” (mister) as you are walking by. In any event, this did not bother me, I never actually felt harassed and could come and go the hotel as I pleased.
The description mentioned the room would have a minibar, but my room didn’t have one. Probably I could have asked for it, but I realized I didn’t need one.
One morning, there was a visit by the police, they were checking visas and passports from all foreign hotel guests. This was unexpected, but it went smoothly.
Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would probably come here again. Not everything is perfect, but I give it 4.5 stars (4 stars for the price/quality/location plus an extra half-staff bonus for the staff, especially Nita).

Anonymous UserThe location is great, in a key spot in the city which makes it easy to get around and explore. There's an Aeon Mall right across the street, which is super convenient. Plus, there are lots of restaurants nearby and it's close to the Forbidden City. I'd give the location a 10/10.
Taxi availability gets a 9/10.
For safety, you need a key card to operate the elevator, so that's a 7/10.
There was a strong smell of smoke, a 10/10 for smokiness.
Cleanliness was a 7/10.
Overall, the price was acceptable.

Guest UserExcellent location with warm service. However, it isn’t an ideal hotel location for tourist location where situating near a bin or smth like landfill that with unlike smell. Additionally, the room was filled with ants everywhere. The hygiene condition definitely has room for improvement. In terms of faculties, the bathroom can’t provide hot water with stable temperatures, i can’t take a shower with hot water around 7ish.
anyway, i still think the hotel quality is matched with the price though, not a bad choice for a short stay

In terms of space, privacy and perhaps not sharing breaths with everyone,, the pods are still the best option in Phnom Penh. Super wide, the mattress is soft enough and even the pillow was OK.
There are four bathrooms that are fine but one wishes the toilets weren't part of the shower area in each cubicle. There are certainly cleaner appearing ones in town.
St. 88 is walking distance to the airport bus stop at Kouch Kanong roundabout, so that's another plus.
