吴This hotel is amazing to me:
-First of all, the location is in the city center, it is very very convenient, it is too convenient to book a car at the door.
-Next door is the front desk, bar, swimming pool, many foreigners swimming in the pool, basking in the sun, very comfortable.
-The room design is too attentive, very modern and has an art gallery, the favorite is the bathtub on the balcony, it is too comfortable, and you can see the pool view from the balcony.
-The waiters at the hotel are all local, everyone will smile for you, the service is very very good! Stay here every minute and enjoy!

Guest UserThis Novotel seems to be right in the city center, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small alley next door that leads directly to a bar street. However, it's over 2 kilometers from the riverside, about a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride. The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are quite spacious. The only minor issue is the odd angle of the mirror, which makes shaving a bit awkward. The executive lounge offers a wider selection of drinks than many Pullman hotels. The main drawback is the price; a standard room at 700 RMB is more expensive than in Shanghai, so the value for money is debatable.

Lovely place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.
It’s a bit quiet around the area, but that’s actually what makes it perfect for a relaxing break with family or friends.

Christian “kriss” INTitle: An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration at The Peninsula
★★★★★
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Peninsula to celebrate my birthday, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. What was meant to be a simple stay turned into a lasting memory, thanks to the exceptional attention to detail from the hotel staff.
The highlights of my stay included:
• A Magical Welcome: Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a wonderful surprise featuring shimmering gold and rose balloons that immediately set a festive mood.
• Personalized Touches: The team went above and beyond by preparing a beautiful ”Happy Birthday” message on the bed using natural leaves and rose petals, accompanied by a creative multi-tiered towel cake.
• Thoughtful Design: Beyond the surprises, the suite itself offered a stunning view and a modern, comfortable living space that made relaxing easy.
It is these thoughtful gestures and small details that I appreciate so much; they truly made this the best day ever. If you are looking for a place where the service is impeccable and the staff genuinely cares about making your moments special, I cannot recommend The Peninsula enough. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable!

The location is incredibly convenient, with a complete range of amenities nearby, including convenience stores, supermarkets, and bars. Restaurants are also easily accessible. The hotel room was spacious, bright, comfortable, and cozy. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. It's the perfect choice for a business trip.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is pretty good, and it seems like a lot of Chinese travelers stay here. The front desk staff are also nice and some even speak a bit of Chinese, so check-in and check-out were smooth. Just a heads up, remember to prepare a $100 cash deposit. Also, a quick reminder: even if you don't eat durian, don't bring it into the room, as it can leave a lingering smell. Overall, the room is good and quite spacious. I'd definitely go back.

This was our third time at this hotel, and we were a bit disappointed. Our deluxe room on the 9th floor was very small, only 16 sqm. When the sun was shining on that side, it felt like an oven. The AC ran 24 hours a day. In the evenings, the music was very loud as it faced Bassac Lane, but we always carry earplugs with us. We also found the breakfast wasn't as good as before; everything tasted quite bland. The coffee, however, was still good. The staff, as always, were very friendly and helpful. But for us, this will probably be our last visit.

Anonymous UserThe location is great, in a key spot in the city which makes it easy to get around and explore. There's an Aeon Mall right across the street, which is super convenient. Plus, there are lots of restaurants nearby and it's close to the Forbidden City. I'd give the location a 10/10.
Taxi availability gets a 9/10.
For safety, you need a key card to operate the elevator, so that's a 7/10.
There was a strong smell of smoke, a 10/10 for smokiness.
Cleanliness was a 7/10.
Overall, the price was acceptable.

Really charming rooms with a cool little swimming pool. Staff were as helpful as their English would allow. No safe in the room.
