First of all, I'd like to thank the staff, who were always very friendly and helpful (there's even a WhatsApp messaging service for requesting information or services). The hotel is in a great location and is a new property, with modernly designed rooms that are spacious and equipped with multiple electrical outlets, perfect for charging your devices. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is a great size; I loved the kettle and the coffee machine with its various options, and I found a fresh bottle of water every day. Honestly, I would have liked to try breakfast at least one morning, but paying 150 euros for the room, spending 60 euros for two seemed a bit excessive. However, I understand that these are market dynamics and the price is probably fair. To be honest, I was kindly suggested to check the app to book it at a lower price (here on Trip, if I remember correctly, it was 23 euros), but after a few attempts, I couldn't find it and gave up, lol. Obviously 10/10. That being said, I thank and greet the staff once again for their helpfulness and kindness.

Perfect spot for a Bucharest city break! The location is unbeatable—right at the edge of the Old Town, making it a 5-minute walk to landmarks like the Stavropoleos Monastery. The vibe is exactly what you expect from a Moxy: modern, energetic, and very social. The rooms are a bit compact but super clean and have everything you need for a short stay. Special thanks to the staff for being so welcoming. Great base if you’re planning to explore the city or heading onward to Sofia!

Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. Excellent stay at JW Marriott Bucharest The hotel is truly impressive, beautifully maintained, and elegant. From the moment you enter, you can feel the attention to detail and the high standards throughout the property. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and well kept, and the public areas of the hotel are equally impressive, stylish, and welcoming. The facilities and services offered by the hotel are excellent, especially the spa, which provides a relaxing and enjoyable experience and adds a lot to the overall stay. Above all, I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by the hotel team. The staff are professional, attentive, caring, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome and valued. I would especially like to mention Anna from the Concierge Department, who was exceptional. She was extremely professional, kind, attentive, and always willing to assist with any request. Her personal attention made our stay even more special. JW Marriott Bucharest offers a wonderful combination of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. Good central location, large hotel with restaurant and good facilities, warm comfortable rooms that were quiet at night, good levels of space and comfort, breakfast was also good, though based around a narrow corridor design so no wider than 2 people. Food was tasty and staffing levels and attentiveness of waitress and catering staff was very good. Also good quality WiFi, and plenty of seats and tables in reception in people wanted to work on their laptop. Plenty of towels and showers were hot, did not experience any issues and would use again.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

Stayed one night at this hotel as I was in transit to Zurich and then Toronto. Checked in about noon I disagreed I was given a Superior Deluxe Room with Double Bed. My room is single room is on the third floor; with a single bed, fridge, TV... What almost kills me is there is no lift nor elevator in this hotel. I had to dragged my bag to my room. Luckily the reception lady was nice to take the small bag for me, No overnight staff is there. I checked out at 3.30am to take my early fight. dropped my key at the reception.

She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It was good experience. Closer to bus station and tram station was only 700 meter . The only bad point was lot of noise . No control after evening . Groups were singing and disturbing others . Breakfast was included . Simple and good . But noise made the stay horrible . Must be control after 8 PM . Rest was good
