Close to the train station, the environment is quiet, the cooking equipment is complete, and even oil and salt are provided. However, one of the three of us has a simple sofa bed, so we didn't sleep well. I like the rest! But this one does not have a front desk to check in, so entering it online is a bit annoying.

We stayed here for two nights on our way to the south of Spain by train. The apartment is modern, has all necessary conveniences and more. A very good and large bed and also the bathroom was excellent. Since there is no personal check-in, everything has to be done via a website. This has benefits as well as flaws. Because we were travelling and not watching my mail all the time, I was surprised by the amount of correspondence. Especially delivering passport and other information was a lot of work. But when you are passed that hassle, everything is realy nice and safe.

Isabella, the owner and manager of Urban Suites, was very nice. She was always available during our stay, either in the office or on the phone. The website states that check-in is until 9pm, but we were delayed by the Air France strike and arrived in Barcelona at 11pm, but Isabella was waiting for us at the hotel. The kitchen had everything we needed, including plates, cups, knives, etc... The apartment was spotless, the bathroom didn't have a lock, but I guess it was designed for couples. Very close to the apartment is a kebab shop, a local store (which has everything you need), and a halal butcher! My friend and I loved the apartment and the convenience of the neighborhood, only a 10 minute walk to the Magic Fountain.

The suites are well located, near the Sants train station and close to bus and metro stops. Taxis can be reached easily in front of the building. The room is very spacious and luminous. The entry is on the side of the building and not directly on the front desk area. There are many restaurants and markets near, so you can buy your groceries and enjoy the full kitchen available in the apartment (specially for breakfasts,,,) They have 2 washer machines and 2 dryers available in the rooftop. They provide the detergent and the softener. Great !!! I take advantage of this unique offer. But... I need to talk about the reasons I don't give 5 stars to them. This is not a cheap place to stay in Barcelona. This means that the service and facilities must function accordingly. I said this because although the room was very large and equipped with almost all new items, I was surprised that when we have problems with the hot water control in the shower and, with the toilet (that keeps the water opened, not allowing the flush process), the situation was notified, and the answer that I received was that because it's weekend and also, Monday a holiday (La Merce), there's no maintenance personnel that can fix both situations. I must give thanks to Leo and Erick that make their best effort to solve in certain way the problem. Really thanks to both of them. My suggestion to the owners; given the case that people from all over the world stay in your facilities, you must have maintenance personnel that can fixed any problem that could arise in the apartment. No matter the cost or holiday event of the year. I don't want to imagine if the problem happens with the AC or any other major appliance, and there is not other room where we can be moved. But again, Leo and Erick, thanks for your effort... No matter this, if I return to Barcelona, I will evaluate stay with them again...

Remember to wash the dishes as soon as you leave the apartment. Even if you find them dirty and stained at the entrance. Oh and don't even try to use the dishwasher ... It doesn't work. For all this we have been scolded by the very nice lady of the reception. For the rest good service.

I was travelling with my wife and two young sons (a baby and a toddler). Our previous experiences of travelling both in the UK and Spain had not been great (things such as dirty cots). I need to say that the hotel director, Isa, cared a lot to make our stay comfortable. She sent us pictures about the cots and provided us with a tiny bathtub that we could use for the baby. I highly recommend Urban Suites if you are travelling with a family, also because it is well communicated with the airport and the train station.

The apartment has some obvious signs of wear and should be looked after a little more, however it is passable. When we arrive at the structure Mrs. Isa points out that for the late chekin you have to pay a supplement of 60 €, which she did not make any reference to in the various communications she had, but at that moment she gives us a discount and we pay a supplement. of 20 €. I had initially booked 2 apartments for 8 people in total, but then we became 7 and 10 days before the stay I ask for a discount which is quantified in 60 €. On the evening of the checkin this discount is forgotten, the next day I point it out, and Mrs. Isa practically takes back the 40 € discount of the late check-in and recognizes me only 20 € discount. In this whole affair there was first of all little fairness and then a good dose of cunning, honestly we were a little dumbfounded, that's why overall I have to express a negative evaluation.
