Best Hotels near Passeig De Gracia, Barcelona

Hotel nella norma, da un 4 stelle ci si aspetta qualcosa di più, comunque livello di confort più che accettabile. Nei servizi offerti dalla struttura sono menzionati una piscina con palestra annessa, purtroppo la piscina può essere definita una grossa vasca nella quale non è assolutamente possibile nuotare con una scaletta per accedervi che credo non rispetti nessuna norma di sicurezza. La mia valutazione negativa è condizionata dalla risposta che mi è stata data da una ragazza alla reception, una dipendente dell’hotel che ha il compito di comunicare con i clienti, ne ignoro il nome, ricordo avesse capelli castani lunghi e alla mia richiesta di informazioni in italiano lei mi ha guardato del tutto stizzita e mi ha detto che non eravamo in Italia e se volevo comunicare con lei dovevo farlo in spagnolo o in inglese, questo lo trovo del tutto inaccettabile da una struttura 4 stelle e ritengo che nello stesso modo che accolgono con entusiasmo i nostri soldi dovrebbero farlo anche con con la nostra lingua, almeno l’essenziale, in fondo lavorano e vivono con i turisti! Tengo precisare che tutto il resto del personale con il quale mi sono interfacciato è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, praticamente tutti tranne una.

Very cool and funky hotel in a great area. Location: center city. Very convenient to many of the sites, metro, shopping (high end), hop on/ hop off bus, nice restaurants, etc Hotel overall: just COOL with a very laid back, fun vibe. Daily free yoga classes. Free walking tour. Amazing breakfast. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. No language issues. Decor is fabulous and eclectic. Excellent use of old and new. Elevators from the last century. Circular staircases surround the elevators. Yoga studio with colorful, comfortable pillows. Tile floors. Lots of shared/common areas including library, study, terrace (great sitting area for cards and a glass of wine), communal kitchen with fridges, micro, plates, glasses, flatware... The room: we got a double with ensuite bath. The room was TINY and dark. Had a bed and an open ”warerobe” with a rod and couple of shelves and that was it. One window with drapes looking out over a small, dark inner courtyard type square. Not even bedside tables. The bath was tiny and the shower floor was ceramic and treacherous when wet. No grab bars, so be had to be very careful. The room was quite off putting at first, but once you ”let it go”, it sort of fit with the experience. It made us socialize more and enjoy the common areas. Met a couple of interesting people... No TV -- anywhere, including common areas. At first it was strange, but we ended up enjoying the break from the noise -- it fits with the Casa vibe. Price/rate: very reasonable, @$100us per night plus tax.

From the moment we stepped inside this hotel we knew we had chosen the right hotel for us. The manager and girl on reception where friendly and efficient. The hotel is beautiful and although the room was small and had no view, it had everything you could require with the most comfortable bed. The shower had great pressure and although there is no kettle in the room, there is a coffee Dock on 6th floor with a fabulous roof top sun area. All staff where excellent, be aware taxis cost around €50 from the airport. Breakfast was not included but honestly there is an amazing restaurant that is2 doors down, opens at 7.30 am and is well priced and tasty. After our experience I would now have Ona hotels as my go to hotel in any area they are in.

Stayed here as part of a tour whilst in Barcelona. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived early, expecting to have to leave my bags and come back, but only after 10mins I was able to check in as they had a room ready for me. The room was nice, but lacking small things like soaps, ear buds, etc. They do supply soap pumps, etc on the walls, but seldom find them useful. I have read past reviews about problems with air-conditioning, & whilst I agree it could be better, it's certainly not enough to turn me off this hotel. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good with plenty of choice & the coffee was one of the best I've had out of a machine. There is a 24/7 bottle shop across the road which is handy & the Hotel is easily walkable to Las Ramblas & many other attractions... highly recommended

Un hôtel central bien situé à proximité du métro mais vous pouvez également vous rendre au quartier gothique à pied (20min). Il est a quelques mètres de la Casa Battlo, du paseig de Gracia, et proche de la Sagrada Familia et de la plaça Catalunya. Intéressant à noter : à deux mètres de l'hôtel, un magasin façon 7Eleven toujours ouvert et bien pratique pour prendre une glace ou une boisson. L'hôtel - La chambre L'hôtel a un tout petit lobby, on a l'impression de rentrer chez quelqu'un. La chambre est spacieuse et très bien décorée. La literie est très bien avec de nombreux oreillers et un matelas très confortable (et je suis très pointilleux sur le sujet). La salle de bains est jolie, belle robinetterie, et une douche vraiment agréable avec un gros débit. Il y a un coffre, une grande télévision et wifi. Le personnel est très sympa et jeune. Les moins : - Pas de bouilloire - L'hôtel ne propose pas de petit-déjeuner - Insonorisation pas exceptionnelle (on entend et on ”ressent” même le métro) - Les rues à proximité directe ne sont pas du tout animées. Ce peut être un moins pour qui est là pour vivre pleinement la vie nocturne de Barcelone. Une bonne adresse confortable pour se déplacer à pied ou en métro.

The hotel service and environment are good! When I first arrived, it was a bit cold at night, but the room can actually adjust the heating, which is great! I was assigned a room with a street view. There was a two-person sofa by the window and a good bench for placing items. The only thing I don't like is the shower in the bathtub. Only half of the glass has no door. Water easily splashes out during the shower and there is no way to separate dry and wet. The hotel is very conveniently located, with supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants not far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from both Batllo and Mira. It is also within a ten-minute walk from several subway stations. It is quite convenient to take the Airport Express R2 to Passeig de Gracia.

The Majestic Hotel is in a great location. Lots of shopping and places to eat in the area. Our room was a junior suite. It was large, comfortable, very clean and extremely welcoming upon our return after a long day out enjoying the sites of Barcelona. The breakfast was wonderful having pretty much everything you could want for breakfast and more! When we come back to Barcelona in the future, we will definitely stay at the Majestic Hotel.

Booked a family suite and didn't expect to get 2 separate rooms with interconnected entrance!! Rooms are large and clean, new modern deco, lots of mirrors, be prepared to run into a few morrors when moving in! 😅 Best location! Can't ask for any better location in Barcelona! Right on the best street of Barcelona, where all the big brands are located, LV, Hermes, Gucci, Dior, you name it, also next to Casa Mila and able to see Casa Batllo from some rooms and Sagrada Família from roof top bar! Which is a bonus! as roof top bar is about 2 storeys higher than most buildings around and you can go up and enjoy a drink anytime! Metro station is 5 mins away. Only down side is Mrs spending too much time and money at the big brands! 😅 And you pretty much can get there as first customer in the morning, less queuing! 👍

Hotel is perfectly located in the city centre, near by Sagrada Familia and few minutes by foot to other Barcelona sites. Few minutes by foot to different metro stops - like (Purple line L2) Monumental, Tetuan, Sagrada Familia and (yellow line L4) Girona. You can basically go anywhere (beach, Rambla, parks, many good tapas bars). Hotel staff is really friendly and able to help. The rooms are quite small and when you come with suitcases, there is not much space left to move, but it can be handled. The beds were clean and comfy. I was not that happy with bathroom - there were black hair in the bath (we both are blonde) and the towels did not smell nice. I smelled chlorine from it. I know that the towels need to be washed with disinfection, but then it should be washed away. We had paid stay with breakfast. The breakfast staff sometimes was a bit confused, when we came for the breakfast separately, also some did not understand English very well. Because my friend has gluten free diet, there were not many things (except the fruits, ham and cheese) that she could eat. The variety of breakfast food I would suggest should be wider. Also I would be happy to have some fresh servings too (for e.g. ham and eggs, freshly made coffee - not just from the machine). Also any coffee made from the machine with milk was sweet. I love coffee with milk but without sugar and there was no opportunity to have it. Anyway, the resume is that we were happy to stay at Hotel Aranea in Barcelona and would recommend it to my friends.

It was not bad but if I go to Barcelona again I will probably choose a different hotel. A few pros and cons based on personal experience: Pros: 1. some rooms are renovated with very useful facilities, such as usb chargers on night stands and desk. Yes, only some rooms and I will explain how I got to know that. 2. The rooms are relatively newer as compared to the other 5 hotels we stayed throughout the trip around Spain. 3 location is very convenient. 4. Most staff were super helpful except for one, which I will mention below. 5 there is a second door between the beds and the small walkway after entering the room, which helps to block noises from elevator, neighboring guests talking in public hallways, doors slamming, etc. it’s very functional for light sleepers. Cons: 1. Noise and one irresponsible staff. I was traveling with a 76 year old parent and specifically asked for a quiet room away from main Street. During checkin, I asked clearly if the room was facing away from busy Street and got positive confirmation. After getting into the room, I noticed the window opened into a street but I was not clear minded after a 18 hour flight and mistakenly thought it was a small street. That day happened to be the Barcelona rose and book holiday and the street was vehicles free and somewhat noise free as well. 1st night was peaceful due to blocked traffic. 2nd night was a all-night symphony of traffic noises, kids screaming, parties on the street, sirens, etc. I came to realize we were indeed right opening to the corner of de Gracia. My elderly parent didn’t have a second of sleep after a long haul flight. We had to go asking for a room change and this time a different gentleman at front desk was very helpful to move us to a room facing the other side. 2. Between the two rooms one has usb and other other doesn’t. But even the one doesn’t look newly renovated. So it’s kinda random. 3. Room is on the smaller side but we knew it when booking so it was not a big deal. 4. Wi-Fi was very weak in both rooms and I was glad I purchased a cell phone card with enough data.
