The location is a bit far from the city center, but the price is affordable and the parking is free. The facilities are old and relatively clean. It is only 5 minutes away from Woodside Park underground station.

Dieses Gästehaus ist sehr einfach, aber absolut in Ordnung für den Preis. Man ist etwas außerhalb, hat aber eine gute Anbindung mit der Underground nach London rein.
Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und es gibt die Möglichkeit, Kaffee/Tee zu machen.
Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber es gibt alles was man braucht. Wenn man Glück hat, bekommt man einen Platz im Wintergarten mit traumhafter Aussicht nach draußen. Wenn man Pech hat, sitzt man etwas düster neben einem lärmenden Fernseher.
Das einzige, was wir wirklich vermisst haben, waren Sitzgelegenheiten. Es gibt Sessel und Sofas im Frühstücksraum, der aber abends verschlossen ist. So haben wir jeden Abend auf dem Bordstein an der Straße gesessen, wenn die Kinder schon geschlafen haben.
Und es geht einen kleinen Nachholbedarf in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit: Handtücher müssen nicht nach einem Tag getauscht werden, und beim Frühstück könnte man manche Dinge auch nicht einzeln in Plastik verpackt anbieten. ;-)
Fazit: Für jeden, der keine hohen Ansprüche an die Unterkunft hat, können wir dieses Gästehaus absolut weiterempfehlen.

I couldn't have asked for a better check in or more gracious hosts/staff. They were kind, flexible, and professional. The hotel had easy parking, it was safe and secure, they have a beautiful back patio with a garden and green space, and the room was HUGE. It was clean, quiet and a short walking distance to cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and a whole street full of culture. The continental breakfast puts US continental breakfasts to shame. So tasty! I'm so glad I found this gem!

We forgot to write a review when we stayed there, it was in July 2022. A lovely welcoming place, with very comfortable apartments. As a family it is really important for us to find a place that is a home away from home. The flat had room for us and our 3 children, where in many place we would have had to have taken 2 rooms and be separated. The Kitchen enabled us to cook for ourselves and it was so close to the high street and the tube that aside from carrying the suitcases upstairs when we checked in and checked out, it was a wonderful place to stay at. . .a small side note, as a family of 5 we hand laundry, our flat did have a washer, but not a dryer, I was able to dry all out cloths by placing them on the back of chairs and radiators all around the flat and the open window which allowed in some lovely fresh air...but a dryer or at least a collapsible laundry stand would have been nice.

Excellent stay. We had everything we needed and very close to the tube which takes you straight to the center of everything - we will be back!

Average hotel. Clean but dated furnishings. Beds were hard and the pillows were too.
Continental breakfast, again ok but nothing special.
Didn't check out the local area but it seem to have plenty of shops and restaurants/cafes.

This is good value, easy to drive to, we were able to park outside for our two night stay and longer into the last day which was a bonus. When we arrived it wasn't very busy and we were given bigger rooms at no extra cost which was a great surprise. It is convenient to get into London the station is a few minute walk. Breakfast is continental which was fine for us. Beds were comfortable, plenty of tea and coffee, pillows hard, a fan and hairdryer which were handy. We will use this guesthouse again when we go to London for a visit
