This guesthouse was a clean budget accommodation with excellent value that I was happy to find during the weekend of the coronation with a welcoming host in an ordinary suburban house, kept spotless. Neighborhood: Coming from the USA, I was surprised to find that this was a cute British-Indian community, but it seemed to mostly have Indian restaurants nearby. The location is near the tube station, but on a slightly busy road. Queensbury Tube station in zone 4 is only a 7-min walk away. I wish I’d read the restaurant recommendations on the website, but I ended up finding the excellent fish & chips shop (Skipjacks) on my own without its help and was able to walk there in 8 min. The neighborhood in the evening didn’t feel extremely safe as I crossed over the train bridge and there was a man hiding there smoking, but it wasn’t horrible either. Room: I stayed in the family room with the private bathroom which was comfortable and immaculate, with a mini fridge, free bottled water, tea- & coffee-making facilities, and a cute view of the various back gardens. The train goes behind the house regularly, but the horns don’t sound often. I needed to wear earplugs to sleep since I like my room cold and needed the windows open. I finally had to close the windows early in the morning. There were also teens sitting on the train bridge most of the evening, screaming and laughing loudly behind the house. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well; however there was nowhere to keep my toiletries while getting ready in the morning. Other than the train noise, my only disappointment was that there was no common room to sit in other than my bedroom. The living room downstairs is private; however, I was able to store my suitcase there for the day. Overall, this was what I needed as a last-minute booking and I was rested for my meeting and long day.

It's a very pleasant stay. The room is not too small. It's a place with a high value for money nearby. There are a lot of street food, self-service laundry, supermarkets, and fish markets. It's very convenient. McDonald's and KFC are all on the left and right. It's just During the maintenance of the elevator, only one elevator can be used. The food in the restaurant is also good. I will consider staying here again if I have the opportunity to come to London.

Stayed at The Manor, Elstree for three nights B and B, booked through Trip.com and paid extra for a “deluxe “ room. We checked in and we’re given a room called Notting Hill on the second floor of the old building. Very “tired” room, especially the bathroom. The extractor fan was very noisy - sounded like a helicopter which we couldn’t turn off. The loo seat was loose and slipped to one side. The cold tap on the basin would not turn off. Floor tiles were cracked and loose. Bath enamel was chipped in several places. NOT DELUXE. The following morning we mentioned the faults to reception who offered us a different room. We were give “Chelsea “ on the same floor. A larger room in better condition but still not really deluxe. Still “tired”.
Breakfast was nice with plenty to choose. All cooked nicely and lots of item’s laid out to select also. Very slow service however, we waited 50 minutes after ordering for the cooked items to appear.
Unfortunately, on our last evening the wheel chair ramps had been left out on the steps at the hotel entrance. As I walked up, one ramp collapsed causing me to fall heavily and knocked my wife over too. We both suffered injuries which we reported.
The steps should have been removed earlier once the wheel chair had left. Please take care if these ramps are there.

Located at a stone throw away from the Park Plaza station via Piccadilly line (approx 2min walk). 48mins to the Heathrow Terminals via the same Piccadilly line. Diagonally opposite is a drive-through Burger King and Five Guys fast food restaurant. Unfortunately there is no convenient stores nearby. They do sell water and some snacks at their lobby vending machine. Otherwise, the tap water in London is generally safe for drinking.
We did the digital check-in and out (simply download the Park Plaza Services APP), hence hassle-free from all the waiting. Room was decent sized for 2pax. Their standing shower space was relatively small though. Not a bad experience if you don't intend to stay for long.

Such a Great Location & the Staff is Amazing! It’s located right next to Kings Cross & Coal Drop Yards which is convenient. Check in is simple & they even let you leave your luggage for free if you get their early & after your check out. The staff is so kind, to the front desk, Maintenance, Cleaning Crew & Management. I love how the beds you can change the color of the Lighting. There are plugs for your phone & a locker to store your stuff. Also a bar to hang socks or a Towel. They have a huge lounge area where you can chill or work & a kitchen. Pretty big kitchen, great way to save $ while traveling! Bathrooms are always clean & always hot water. They have events throughout the week which is great for connecting with new people. You can tell the staff is like family here & genuine souls! Definitely suggest checking out this Hostel when traveling to London! My next trip into London, I’ll definitely be staying here. 💚

We chose this B&B partly becuse of it's location, parking and proximity to tube line and it didn't disappoint. Just a few minutes to tube, parking right outside the door and a High Street just a minute away with shops, banks, cafes, and everything else which we spent an hour or more in. We were greetly very warmly and when i called a couple of times with queries, they were professional and helpful. The room was great, large bed, large room and super clean bathroom. Our bed was really comfortable, there was a sofa in the room for relaxing on and tea/coffee/biscuits/kettle. For a stopover in London this place is just perfect, clean, comfortable, welcoming and in a fantastic location.
GGuest UserAfter a train strike scuppered our travel plans to London we decided upon a hotel not far from Brent Cross underground station, which was an easy drive from the bottom of the M1. The hotel was a converted house and included free parking on the front of the hotel although there was only space for two cars. For an extremely reasonable price (for London) of £205 for two nights (cheaper to book direct than through a third party) we had a basic but very clean and well appointed room. It boasted a comfortable bed and excellent shower and TV. Would stay again as only a 5 minute walk from the tube which was then only 20-25 minutes journey to Leicester Square/ Covent Garden/Westminster.
GGuest UserThis is a small personal boutique-hotel designed for the kosher traveller. The location is unbeatable - in a quiet street 1-2 minutes walk from the kosher hub including Chabad, many shuls, a big variety of kosher food outlets and a 5-10 minute walk from the Golders Green station. The management and owners make themselves available to you and seriously attempt to meet your every request. Clean and comfortable with a quiet garden. Wifi excellent and user friendly The fridge facilities in the room and in the shared kitchen are great A/C worked very quietly and effectively Good well-placed multi-purpose electricity outlets Very comfortable beds and generous supply of large pillows The basic breakfast is cheap and basic. The upgraded breakfast is excellent The frum facilities (shabbat room-key, shabbat urn, hot plate etc) are good Don't expect a fancy hotel. The building is old and there are some minor things that don't work so well. The toilet in our room needs repeated flushing in order to do its job. The safe in our room was broken - failed to work despite a change of batteries. The main bedroom light and one bathroom light didn't work I would certainly return to this hotel especially if my stay included shabbat
FfinnishtravelelAs I travelled in London, I was glad to find excellent customer service where ever I went. This hotel was a total opposite. After 5 hours in a hot bus, we arrived at the hotel to meet unkind stuff member who just pointed at the stairs and told us ”no elevator” and offered no help for us to get our luggage in the room upstairs. That was a bummer. The room was tiny but clean. Not the most convenient, since there were two beds and only one night table so other bed had no space to put anything into. We only had two towels and had to ask for a hand towel. There was no closet space, and hangars were placed above the electric kettle, so no use for them. There was a bar downstairs, so the noise was quite loud, and the door of the hotel was in the terrace area of the bar. Wouldn't recommend when travelling with kids. Best thing in the room was the air conditioning, which worked really well and kept our room cool during the heat outside.
