Stayed at the beach house/cabin! No complaints! Would stay there again! Fell asleep to the sound of waves, slept well! Beautiful view of the beach.., and the sunrise was stunning! All amenities provided! Very soft towels! Road in front can be busy but to be expected when so near the beach!

My room in the motel was extremely pleasant and comfortable and well equipped, including kitchen items. It was decorated in a tasteful way. The bed was unusually comfortable and it was nice to have a huge warm fluffy blanket to put on it as the weather was cold.

Araluen Motor Lodge Batehaven NSW is my go to Motel on the south coast. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is a good size. The Motel is a short walk from shops, cafe, bakery and the golf club which has a great restaurant. I have stayed at a lot of places on the south coast and after staying at Araluen 5 years ago I have always since stayed at Araluen.

Great location. Very clean. Would have been nice to have wine glasses, a bit of cutlery and some plates but otherwise would stay there again. Staff were very friendly and the price was reasonable. Close to the shopping center and takeaway food places.

As a group of friends, we booked two family rooms for a three night stay. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. However the facilities in the rooms were poor considering breakfast is not served. We had to ask for a toaster. There was no cutlery or plates , cereal bowls etc. , apart from coffee mugs. It is too expensive for what is offered.

Room was clean and large and I was able to checkin to the room on arrival as the room was ready. Close to the shops and beach. Room had a large fridge as opposed to a bar fridge and little kitchenette. A two setter lounge which was comfortable and a good size table and chairs.

We spent one night on our way down the coast from Sydney to Melbourne. While not the most modern we loved our stay as the room was spacious with a view of the water and perfectly clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly. Love supporting a family run business and would recommend a stay to anyone.

Another stay at the Araluen Motor Lodge (it's the only place we stay at, when we go to Batemans Bay). Always friendly nothing is ever a problem, straight opposite the ocean. It always seems like a home away from home. Deb and her staff are awesome and when we leave, we can hardly wait until the next time. Most welcoming place I have ever stayed at. Love love love it.

We loved our stay at the Araluen Motor Lodge. We were given a room on the first floor which had a separate 'kitchen' room with table and chairs and a microwave oven. Everything was light and bright , we had great views and a very spacious bedroom with an enormous TV. We had a lovely verandah and could sit out and take in the views. Parking was easily accessible and we could walk to IGA and bakery.
