Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave.
The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted.
Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded.
The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.

Superb service, lovely room and exceptional food in a priceless location. Good facilities and overall a great ambience that left us feeling refreshed and wanting to come back.

Fantastic place to stay. Historic building and elegant grounds gives a charming atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and the spa is excellent. Delicious food and friendly service. Prices are high tho, but it's perfect for a luxurious stay. Highly recommend!

Having visited for afternoon tea and spa treatments , but never stayed … we did so and we have never been looked after so well… everyone at the Crescent was so attentive and made you feel so special … Can’t wait to stay again…

Overall everything was excellent. Although we were not offered more tea whilst having afternoon tea. I had to find a member of staff to request anything. The concierge was very helpful assisting with my mother who is in a wheelchair. Unfortunately he did not bring my mothers zimmer frame out to our car so it got left behind. I have contacted the hotel and they suggested I get a taxi for it. I live in Somerset. Also the downstairs toilet doors are not wide enough for a wheelchair, and the disabled toilet is not large enough to get a wheelchair in and shut the door. But overall it was a very pleasant stay.

This hotel was extraordinary in every way. We felt like and were treated like the royalty that once stayed there. Beautiful accommodations, superb service and attention to every little detail down to our name plaque on the door. Highly recommend and can't wait to return.
