"The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, equipped with a mini-bar and a kettle. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a make-your-own waffle station. There's also a small gym available. A large overnight parking lot is conveniently located just a short distance from the hotel, which is great if you're driving. Just one block north, you'll find a variety of restaurants, and the famous Roman Baths are only a few more steps away. However, the front desk staff spoke extremely fast, seemingly oblivious to the fact that we were foreigners and struggled to understand. They just rattled on. This really highlighted a lack of consideration and customer service on their part!"

"I stayed at The Z Hotel Bath for a short city break and was genuinely impressed. The location couldn’t be better—right in the centre of Bath, just minutes from the Roman Baths, shops, and restaurants. Everything was walkable, which made exploring super easy. The room was compact but cleverly designed, clean, and modern. I had a windowless room, which I initially wasn’t sure about, but it turned out to be quiet and great for sleeping. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with a good shower. One of the highlights was the complimentary cheese and wine served in the evening—such a lovely touch and not something you’d expect at this price point. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel really welcoming. If you’re looking for a stylish, no-fuss place to stay in Bath with a great central location and thoughtful extras, I highly recommend The Z Hotel. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in town!"

"Stayed for one night and couldn’t fault the location – literally a couple of minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and everything else in the centre. Perfect for exploring Bath on foot. The hotel itself is lovely: modern, spotless, with fantastic facilities. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful – I sent a message via feedback email for additional biscuits to find they had read the email and dropped them off. They clearly read and act on feedback, which makes a big difference. Only downsides: the pillows are thick and puffy – if you prefer flatter pillows it’s worth requesting in advance. Also, parking is the typical city-centre headache: no on-site spaces, so you’re directed to the nearest public car park about 5-7 minutes’ walk away. Dropping bags means parking temporarily, unloading, then moving the car – and it added roughly £20 per day to the stay. Overall, despite the pillow and parking niggles, I’d happily stay again. Excellent hotel in a perfect spot – just be aware of those two small drawbacks if they’d bother you. Highly recommended overall!"

"We stayed at the Lansdowne Grove during our recent trip to Bath Christmas Market . This hotel is very comfortable , warm and welcoming . We loved the location it was easy to get into the centre but be warned its a very steep climb back up to . The beds are extremely comfortable although the pillows not so much . Our room had everything you could possibly need , the shower was amazing and loads of hot water .There was loads of options for breakfast too overall good value for money and we will definitely be back ."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient to reach directly from Bath Spa train station via a bus that stops right outside. While check-in is in the afternoon, complimentary luggage storage is available if you arrive early. My room was very comfortable, quiet, and spacious; opting for an accessible room offers even more space. The front desk staff kindly reminded me not to pull the emergency cord in the room. Dinner is served à la carte at the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. A big thank you to all the staff for their wonderful service!"

"the room was average, cleanliness definitely could’ve been better. the surfaces were not wiped down in my room and the remote control was scary to touch enough to make me not want to use the television. all else was great, good location, friendly staff and the breakfast was goodtoo."

"Very beautiful room in style, size and accessories. The only problem is the stairs to get to the rooms, it is important to know if you are unable or have large suitcases. 20 minute walk from Bath station. 18 minutes by bus and on foot. Overall I recommend it without hesitation."

"The room was a delightful surprise – vibrant, stylish, clean, and comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient for both the train station and local attractions. Inside the room, there were complimentary drinks, coffee, and tea. What was especially unexpected and helpful was finding an iron, which was perfect for smoothing out my wrinkled dress. Of course, the hotel isn't without its quirks; being an older building, getting to the room felt a bit like navigating a maze of twists and turns, and the soundproofing could be better. However, getting a good night's sleep was ultimately what mattered. Plus, ironing my clothes in the morning with the sunlight streaming through the window was quite a pleasant experience."

"5 minutes walk to the center. The room was clean and spacious. I stayed in the Chinese room right in front of the stairs on the first floor... The room was big and nice, but I could hear all the noise outside. I didn't pay much attention to the parking lot view, but the silhouette of the shower and toilet can be seen from the parking lot. I was too lazy to move rooms, so I asked for a big towel to cover the window. I think this part needs to be improved. Also, there is a £10 parking fee... I wish they didn't charge it in the off season."

"You can see the city on a small hill, the environment is good, the soundproofing of the room is average, the kitchen has a pot but no stove. Room 2 is on a super steep staircase, the soundproofing and heat preservation of the room are average, and the heating is broken. I fixed it myself and it was barely warm on the second night. The front desk and staff are very friendly and solve the problem in time. But I may not stay again. I can stay in Premier Inn for a little more money."
