Premier Inn Livingston (Bathgate)

Stayed here as we were attending an event at The Royal Highland Centre and were looking for something close as other Premier Inns nearer were too expensive. Had a nice stay. Friendly staff. Clean room. Added bonus of seeing deer in the field outside the window. Standard Premier Inn room, you know what your going to get.

I travelled to Livingstone Bathgate Premier Inn for a three night stay to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh. Everything was perfect. There is plenty of parking. All staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious , modern and clean with everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and I had an excellent nights sleep . Breakfast was really good .

The hotel had been upgraded 4 weeks before my stay. The bathroom had a drainage smell & was also in the corridor. Moved room but by my 2nd night the smell was also in that bathroom. Wouldn’t stay again until drainage issue fixed.

Stayed for a overnight stay from 1st september to the 2nd was amazing! Couldn’t fault it at all, We stayed in the premium room was amazing just recently done up as you could smell the paint but it was no problem. Staff are lovely and helpful and the breakfast is very good, Definitely worth the money spent and not to expensive, Would definitely recommend to anyone

The room is great, the bed is very comfy and the full English breakfast is worth every penny and there is a very nice lady called Teresa who makes herself busy all the time making sure we receive everything we need. We would certainly recommend staying there.

It was a pleasant stay, excellent prices and an amazing breakfast, with a special mention to a lady called Teresa who was kind, helpful and I could not believe that she was managing everything in the breakfast area by herself, I even told her she was incredible. Thank you Teresa!

I've stayed at dozens of Premier Inns, but this one ranks up there. This mainly to do with the refurbished rooms. Beautifully and simply done, they are very relaxing and comfortable. Bed is sumptuous, new style of carpeting is very well designed with a herringbone effect. Room was very spacious and toilet had ample room. Walk in with power shower and a nice touch was the alternative low level purple lighting for toilet for use during the night. Decent sized tv with USB port. A big shout out to the member of staff who checked us in, very nice guy. Plenty of free parking and just over a 5min cab drive to the train station in Bathgate. Note it's about a half an hour walk to this train station but it's not recommended due to the road network. Excellent wifi with decent speeds. Can highly recommend and it can be a good alternative to staying in Edinburgh if the prices are high

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a local business course. Hotel was getting refurbed so a little noisy in afternoon when I got back, but only to be expected. Rooms were lovely well thought out and had everything you needed. Only one issue with the room was the thermostat for the room temperature could not be adjusted, when I asked at reception about it I was just told yes we are suppose to be able to adjust them but there not working for some reason. No other help or advice was offered, I went to a local supermarket and bought a desk fan as the room was sitting at 23.5c. Even with the window open as full as it would go nothing helped. The beakfast was excellent with an abundance of choice from cooked breakfast to cereals and pastries, overall this hotel when it gets its heating sorted would be a really nice hotel to stay if you’re looking for somewhere in this area
