Very disappointed with the hotel. I pulled into Valet parking and nobody was there. I had to wait and wait. The check in went fine. The room is clean but worn. I look forward to the addition to the hotel opening. Maybe they will renovate the old rooms once the new side opens. Went to the hotel bar to get a drink. Ten (literally) staff standing around. I sat at the bar and four staff were there and I felt like I had to beg to get a drink made. It wasn’t made right once I got it. Plus I was the only one at the bar. They kept complaining about the management. With vulgar language too. After walking around a while, I found the hotel bar and there was a happy hour! That was awesome. Great bartender (Kyle)! Ten times worth whatever he’s paid. Wanted to go to Nibi. Very expensive, which is fine, but the menu is too limited. I can make great steaks on my own grill for that. Needs more variety. Went back to smoke n fire. They didn’t seem to care if I was there or not. Even gave me a bottle of sparkling water…. But no glass. Not sure how they thought I’d drink it. As for the meal of ribs: it’s ok. They now even asked to see if all was good. Bottom line…. They don’t care if you are there or not. The ribs are ok, but I’d NEVER spend money there again. This place is a TOTAL waste of money. I’m SO disappointed. I haven’t even gambled yet! Why is everyone so happy? I’m ready to call some manager! Don’t stay here!

Stayed three nights at the end of May and regretted our decision to stay the first night. Hardly any play, just feed machines. Room was decent. Seems they raised prices for food and beverage. And they need an outdoor area to enjoy warmer months.

Firekeepers has some great performers at their venue. The Jay Leno comedy show was phenomenal. The venue would be much nicer with permanent seating rather than chairs. Inside the ****** and hotel lobby I only found one drinking water fountain.

Save your money and go to the Detroit casinos at least then you have a chance of coming out ahead. They have the tightest slots in Michigan and the employees are not friendly at all! Out of the last 50 times of going here I’ve came out 0 times ahead

Arrived 4:45 for 5 pm dinner, The daughter had a headache, and we were on time. The daughter offered to manage stuff while we ate dinner since she wasn't feeling well. Dinner was the worst, it seemed wilty and bread sat out all dry, honestly it was the worst cheap layout ever. I stopped outside after dinner and 1st security person asked if I was the one pushing our dogs in the stroller, I said yes. He never stated there was any issue. I said yeah I'm headed up to gather her because I was using the bathroom and daughter wasn't feeling well. I was never under the impression there was any issue. That was 6:22pm. After dinner. By I'd say 7-8pm we are approached by Dan and another security person who's telling me while my husbands taking these pics, sitting with daughter. I was ordering room service at smoke and fire where Ayla Lietzke is standing, I was interrupted by Dan, and wanted to talk to me NOW. FOR NO REASON!! I did, I listened, then I explained we have not stayed or been to this news years event before. We have licensed pets that are for health purposes, we identified that when we booked. Apparently they had issues with us utilizing a stroller part of the time while on property. It's because with it being new years, and because it's new place to us we brought extra protections not knowing if they do fireworks or if it would be crowded or if people might likely be drunk and or irregularly outta control on News Years Eve here. We are very particular, and we don't like people to ask let alone touch our service pet. Now I had documentation on me as I always carry and not once outta be targeted 5 time within under 24 hrs, I was never asked for. I don't wish to be publicly scrutinized for what purpose in front of others that is uncalled for an exceptionally unprofessional, humiliating and degrading to a person's like ourselves. Not once being asked do you have papers, never! I totally do, and what's worse is they tried to say I was in some second violation and that we are to not leave our rooms. NEW YEARS EVE, banned immediately from participation so I asked for supervisor, she was very nice, listened and agreed with what we had explained, I also stated it's New yYears eve, we don't leave our service animal ever, but we do cover each other when going to bathroom or to smoke. Too much $$ is invested to not be good to the ones who look after us. It's not up for political scrutiny what choices and less they're unlawful or the exhibit abuse or cruelty like Dan security or (Ayla Leitzke smoke fire mgn), whom have no fore thoughts or training in being considerate of a guest. Every person exercises whatever routines fit their needs, yes all special needs are not the same THEY ARE INDIVIDUAL! One person may require 24/7 and another may require 12/12 depending on needs, however I had medical transcripts on hand, and were never once asked to criticize how we move about, I have dogs papers, tags and credentials with training certs. We don't get out often for

The elderly woman playing several machines in the high stakes room, christmas afternoon, dressed in christmas attire, didn't fool anyone. She was obviously playing for the house. What a disgusting display. You guys need to make them more believable.

There are two sections to this hotel. On the right is the new section. We always ask for a room in this section when getting our room. The room was clean this time. (We have had issues before with sheets not changed) Nice Tv. Nice bathroom. Comfy bed. * PLEASE PUT THE FRIDGES ON A DESKTOP AND OFF THE FLOOR. They are impossible to use. We’ll come again. Overall we had a good experience.

Hotel has bedbugs, yes for real. Table games staff is inexperienced and rude. A dealer who could not count tried to take my chips when I had a winning hand on four occasions. When I asked to speak to manager, I was approached by a very rude boss with an east coast accent, he said if you “don’t like it then go to another table.” I wasn’t trying to cause problems, I just thought someone should know that a dealer on duty could not execute the very basics of their job, and that this dealer could not accurately count a total of all cards in one hand. I wonder how many times this dealer wrongfully took money from players when no one was paying attention. East coast boss was definitely not paying attention and acted like it was an inconvenience when I asked to speak to him. It is hard enough to win let alone to have a bad dealer and an unpleasant boss. I will not be going back

The ****** basically steals your money, you have zero chance of coming out a winner, I will never be back, very dishonest place, the slots are tight and the table games are rigged, and the workers are not very polite
