very good hotel in batam. the hotel give me free brackfast and good service.but sometimes wifi network is bad. but overall good hotel.

The surrounding environment is general, the night in the back of the hotel is a street girl, not suitable for family travel.

great hotel with fantastic view and surrounding. It was a good option to choose harbourbay view, a spacious and very clean room. All worked well in the room. Staffs were attentive and could recognize my return stay, well trained for the F&B staff on food and drinks. Check-in/out were fast and no hassle. Will definitely come for the next trip.

My partner booked a standard room for my birthday. The room was on the 12th floor with harbour view (room 1231). The hotel building is 13 floors with the lounge on the top floor. The room came with king sized bed with bay window seats, the bathroom had a bath tub and a separate shower room. Plus point for ladies, powerful hairdryer! Love that there was a day curtain (manual) and blackout curtain (automatic with switch) to adjust natural light coming into the room. The staff throughout the hotel was polite and helpful. The pool + swirl pool + kids pool is on the 5th floor overlooking the sea. The gym (24 hours) and spa (was advised by the spa staff they opens 10am to 10pm daily) is also on the 5th floor, easily accessible from the lift lobby. The gym is well equipped with 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical, 3 stationary bikes, 2 free weight benches and some machines. The pool is clean (my stay was on weekdays) 25m in length at its longest length. Decent for laps. Great views overlooking the sea. The the whirlpool at the side is a plus point. Level 2 of the hotel connects to the adjacent Bayfront mall. The restaurants at the promenade are accessible from level 1 of the hotel lobby. There are a lot of food choices, mostly seafood restaurants. Also a hotpot restaurant. Only disappointment was the spa (Quan Spa). Went for the Quan Day Ritual for Two (2.5 hours) which included stone massage, ear candling, coffee body scrub and mask (plus V-spa Retus for ladies) for Rp 2,000,000 before taxes (with taxes was about Rp 4,000,000 = SGD 400). Quality of masseurs was poor (massage techniques, temp of the hot stones), inattentive service, unclear instructions (possible due to language; masseurs speaking simple English). Wasn’t told about the start of the mask, only to realized we had to rest for 15 mins for the masking process. Also insufficient information given for V-Spa Retus which was done near the end of spa session. Quite disappointing given the price point.

AP Premier is one of the oldest hotel in Batam Indonesia and was known as Novotel in the past. The hotel was one of the top grade hotels in Batam when I stayed there 20+ years ago (yr 2001). Although there are many hotel options now days in batam but AP Premier is still my favorite place to stay when visiting batam for business trip recently. The hotel location is good to me. It is very near to ferry terminal, Habourbay (in fact within walking distance) and Nagoya, the old town center where most of the tourists from Singapore would like to visit. The hotel public area is quite spacious. The breakfast selection was great. Room is clean and comfortable to stay. Hotel service is awesome especially the front desk team like Miss Wani and Mr Dona are exceptionally helpful.

She even arranged a surprise birthday decoration in our room on the second day - kudos to her! *Friendly Staff:* The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, polite, and welcoming. *Excellent Amenities:* - Delicious breakfast spread - Convenient location near the cruise center and seafood restaurants - Easy access to Grand Batam Mall and Hypermart Mall via Gojek or Grab *We'll Be Back!* We're eager to return and stay at Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay again. The first impression once step in was great. I'm a simple person, not that fussy so able to adapt to the environment within expectation. Booked this through Booking.com and was required to paid in cash. Not enough cash in hand. Luis the entrance concierge helped me out. He offered to ride on bike which he explained it will be more safer with him around. Thanked him for that. Entrance concierge - Credit to the young chap, Luis. He's polite and went extra mile. 5/5 Front desk - Always love the culture of the people who provide services here. As always very gentle and polite. But they will look better in standard uniform. 5/5 Room 601/602 - we checked in family of 5. 2 big spacious rooms with kids who are active running around. Cleanliness can be improve. Cups not cleaned. Still have stained. Room 602 not fully utilised with cup spoon, bathroom liquid or bar soap and shampoo not filled. The mattress not comfy as I can feel the spring. The hot water not working. Need to focus on essentials. 2/5 Breakfast - not much variety for budget hotel. Consider good enough. For family with kids, would love to see cereal for kids breakfast. 3/5 Checkout - It was pleasant as we traveled during the holiday of SG. They have taxi standard rate so u don't need to worry to travel around. 4/5 Location - Very near to pubs and shops. 5/5. Walking distance of 15-30mins to Nagoya Hill Mall. Overall Rating - 3.5/5 Thank you for the hospitality.

So glad to pick this very new hotel in Batam. A value stay that is not compromising on comfort and size. Breakfast was sumptuous with ala carte local or western breakfast freshly cooked on order. Pretty good for the price. Excellent service from the staff too, will highly consider this hotel again for my next visit.

The hotel is located in the middle of batam city so it is near to everything. The room was so big and clean. I loved the old hotel vibes with this hotel - carpets and a lot of furnitures. The interior design was very beautiful too. But the thing I loved the most was the bathtub!

Good business hotel laying in the heart of Batam Centre. Room is clean and the closets smell like new. Toilet have integrated bidet and is, as well as the shower, well maintained. Breakfast is nice with a various choice of local and western meals. Served by motivated personell who will help you when you need them. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I feel that the price / quality is not really correct. In my opinion the price is too high especially when you have to pay extra for breakfast. If you're a businessman this will be the perfect hotel to stay for you. For leisure it's also a good hotel, but there are other hotels over there who will offer you enough for 50% of the price I paid for this hotel.
