I was here in February and had a great time, so I brought my family back because my father is aging and he wanted to spend time with us. He has severe mobility issues, so we borrowed a wheelchair from the concierge at the cost of $25/day. Accessibility was okay, though there were elevators that didn't work in some areas, and the resort it enormous, so getting around can be daunting for disabled folks. Service isn't the best unless you speak Spanish, or at least make an attempt to. Being able to communicate really does get you better service, despite all the tips we handed out. My elderly parents and aunt weren't able to do a lot, and spent a lot of time in their junior suite room, which was weirdly laid out and provided no privacy in the bathroom--we had to clip a bedsheet up to provide some cover. I got very sick and also ended up staying in my room a lot, but the TV didn't work and the Wifi connection was shoddy so I had nothing to do. The quality of this stay had more to do with the circumstances than the resort, but if you come with young kids, the kids club and splash park are worth it. Book a Family Suite so you can have 2 separate rooms. And watch out for sand fleas on the beach. My kid got eaten alive and was miserable.
