"My first order with room service ended in a shocking experience — the delivery staff stole money from me. I immediately informed guest services, who said they would contact security, but no one ever followed up with me about this terrible situation. Housekeeping was wonderful, but the rest of the staff left much to be desired. The beach experience was equally disappointing. You can’t enjoy the shoreline without being harassed by vendors trying to sell you everything imaginable. Walking on the sidewalk is nearly impossible due to the number of trucks, golf carts, and scooters used by workers. On top of that, the seaweed problem is out of control — piles and piles of it make the beach completely unenjoyable. Overall, I will never stay at this resort again."

"Bathrooms need some renovation. After taking a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. Also,breakfast options should be made more foreigner friendly as well as employing people who can speak English. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to lodge with big comfortable beds and nice swimming pool."

"Upon arrival i found out that Trip.com botch my reservation. i booked a garden suite that offered a king bed or two doubles. My search was 1 room 2 adults i was giving Punta Cana. princess suites. the resort refuse to check me and my sister in because a phone rep told me that my booking was good for two. had to use my spending money to pay extra cause Trip.com did not put my sister on the booking. food was nasty, cold and picked over. fresh food was not put out often enough. Flies were all over the food. wait staff at the steak house was rude and nasty. Refuse to correct my order after they messed it up. Spent an entire night hungry. beautiful spot but will never go to this resort again nor will i book with trip.com"

"This hotel is pretty good, especially the infinity pool on the roof, it's so beautiful! You can order your own breakfast, and there is freshly squeezed watermelon juice. The hotel's exclusive beach is on the first floor, and the beach is open at night. The sky bar on the roof is open until 11 o'clock. Overall, it's pretty good. This city is very beautiful."

"The hotel is quite nice; the only issue is that the photos they show are from Royalton Hideway, not Royalton Splash, which makes things a bit confusing. At first it bothered me, but we were able to use both hotels, except for some areas like the buffet at the larger one and a few other things. Other than that, the beach was beautiful and the pools were nice too. There are a couple of things that could be improved, like having more areas where people can hang out longer, or places to play games such as volleyball or something like that—but that’s just my personal opinion. Overall, the hotel is good. It’s not “wow” like I initially expected, but I can’t complain."

"It is a hotel that is almost 5 stars. The most positive thing is that the staff is all super friendly, with a super cheerful spirit, the hotel maintenance is super good, only some small details such as in the public bathrooms, general maintenance but not cleaning, the gastronomy is what I think can improve a little more apart from the Toro restaurant that was of high quality, the food is good but not at the level of excellence. We visited all the restaurants and they were good. I do not have anything negative about the hotel, the bad thing for us was the beach, impossible to swim in, a lot of waves, the children cannot even play on the shore, super dangerous, we even managed to see a person drowning and thanks to the service of the lifeguards they managed to revive the person. The rooms are quite comfortable and large, and if you are not interested in buying property do not agree to go to the talk for the points because you will lose half a morning. And with the vendors on the beaches you will find better prices. But if you are only looking for a pool and nightlife with discos, casinos and theaters, this is the perfect hotel. If you are only looking for a beach, this is not the hotel, although you can find quiet beaches within a 20-minute walk along the shore."

"The hotel itself is very beautiful and cozy, but what disappointed us was the service. Most of the staff were impatient and unhelpful. One of the sports bar staff even cursed at us in Spanish, thinking we didn't understand, and that was only because we hadn't yet chosen the snack we wanted. Another thing that took us by surprise and upset us was the availability of the restaurants, practically ALL closed. The hotel description lists several options, but only the Italian, Dominican, and Japanese restaurants were open, causing overcrowding. We were only able to book dinner at the Italian restaurant, and we returned the next day to the general buffet, which, although large, had few options and variations of food. The cuisine is different, the meat is different, but that's to our taste. I had asked the hotel in advance for a different arrangement or something special because I was on my honeymoon, and they didn't even respond and upon arrival they could give us a honeymoon room but only for the payment of 70 dollars, but anyway, we didn't let that spoil our rest, but among the resort options I've been to, I believe that in terms of service, organization, entertainment and food this was the ”weakest” of all, what really captivates is only the landscape and the location, because the other things are all ok to weak. Oh and if you're looking for entertainment, be aware that the games available at the sports bar are all paid, from 1 to 3 dollars per machine."

"Food and drinks were subpar but I guess one should not expect much for an inclusive resort. The room had a broken safe and phone which took 2 days to replace because they kept telling me to call back. Location was nice and is family friendly. "
