Find the Best Hotels Near Beach in Nanaimo

This was my first time ever staying here and I was very impressed. I will definitely be coming back to the Bayside Resort in the future. The staff from the moment I walked in the door were amazing. They were super polite and very helpful and very informative for all my questions and needs. The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. I came there for a relaxing weekend and got just that. The restaurant and lounge staff were so nice and on the ball. It was very busy there but they never skipped a beat and always made me feel like I was the only one in the room. I was super impressed with this. It was disappointing that there was no hot tub as it was dealing with repairs at the time, hey these things happen, but the pool was great and the workout room/gym was very impressive as well. Location of this resort is amazing, honestly can’t get much better. Spectacular views on beachfront to one the most popular beaches in this region. What a beautiful spot!! I feel like I can go on and on, all and all I had a great experience at the Bayside Resort and I will definitely be back soon!!

The bedroom is very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very courteous and efficient. The breakfast was delicious and inexpensive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise ridge, our 1 bedroom junior suite was very nice, quiet and comfortable. Really nice outdoor pool and beautiful grounds.  TV box could use an update but otherwise all good.

The Travelodge Nanaimo is centrally located in a quiet area about a 5 minute walk to the downtown business district & a minutes stroll from Nanaimo's Harbourfront Walkway & the beautiful waterfront Maffeo Sutton Park. This Travelodge is an older property & the standard room furnishings were a bit dated but the room itself was very clean, well maintained and included a small patio area, mini-fridge, microwave, complimentary coffee/tea and a very comfortable bed. The value priced rate also included continental breakfast. Great value for the price paid.

Hotel location is very easy to find, the room, bedding and bathroom supplies are very new and clean, arrived at the hotel early on the same day and checked in in advance, it really made the guests have a good experience. If you need to take a boat back to Vancouver in the morning, this hotel is a very good choice. It takes only 5 minutes from the hotel to the departure bay ferry terminal, which is very convenient. I will stay at this hotel next time I come to Nanaimo.

It’s my first Best western in few decades. Pleasantly surprised by the modernity and cleanliness. Room is comfortable and compact with all the basic touches and a good layout. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Location is perfect for one night stay to get in and out from the highway.

It was an amazing exercise staying at Turtle, it’s in the middle of downtown, super close to ocean, restaurants and night life is good. I’m definitely staying there again! It was clean n neat, no one disturbed, guests were super friendly.

Single House with two beds and one sofa bed. Near the beach and easily to find the place. The room is nice, it is good for family trip to Parksville area.

We had a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering good informatiin for island activities. (highway closure, local acyivities and such) The pool is a little cold but there is a nice hot tub jacuzzi option. The pools hours of availability are terrific, and allowed for plenty of time for fun The breakfast available with the stay offers a good basic variety of hard boiled eggs, cereals, toast and bagels juice and coffee or tea. Just one suggestiin would be to add aniyher ice machine, otherwise we are happy with our stay and found everything clean and enjoyable Again such friendly and helpful staff throughout.
