Gorgeous tropical, relaxed vibe — the InterContinental Danang is genuinely beautiful. Service can be a bit slow at times, but honestly it just forces you to slow down too, which fits the atmosphere perfectly. Breakfast at Citron is the absolute highlight and a must — get there early to secure outdoor seating with those incredible views. Be prepared to spend an hour just taking photos for social media; it's that picturesque. Barefoot, the Italian spot by the beach, was excellent. The pizza was probably one of the best I've had in Vietnam (yes, better than Pizza 4P's). Dessert was fantastic too. Be sure to book activities as soon as you arrive, as they fill up fast. La Maison 1888, the Michelin 1-star, was a bit of a letdown in my opinion — too expensive, too salty, and just okay overall. You're probably better off saving your money for an omakase elsewhere, or a proper 2 or 3-star experience. The HARNN Heritage Spa massage, while around 7x more expensive than what you'd pay outside the resort, was surprisingly excellent and well worth the splurge.

Staff, food, and beach were all wonderful. There is a sea wall straight out from the beach, which during low tide means there are almost no waves. During high tide there are more gentle waves. At first we were a little disappointed in this as we love the sound of the waves, but when we visited a beach further down, there was no swimming allowed as the waves were too severe. So I am glad we could go swimming any time. The beach is white sand, no garbage, no seaweed, just nice clean sandy beach. The room was nice, but the AC blows right on your head, which my wife does not appreciate. However it was too hot to not have it on, so she spent night with a pillow over her head :) The only real negative is the location. I imagine this used to be a happening area; it is no longer. There is a small shop just in front of the hotel which also does laundry and mediocre massage, so that is convenient. But there is little else in the area. We ended up taking a Grab everywhere. That being said, it was very quiet and peaceful, so it depends on what you are interested in. If you want a place to just set up and stay, the food was good, the beach is great, the staff is wonderful, and the beach was very quiet. Oh, and the spa was fantastic although a little pricey as all hotel spas are.

Attached photo for the view from our hotel room. Pool (8/10): outdoor, pleasant temperature, clean water, no smell, a little small, suitable for chilling. There is also a snooker table by the pool Room (8/10): we liked the 3 single beds which can be combined into a giant size bed for the whole family. The room is clean and has enough amenities for general usage. However, noise cancellation is almost non existent so you should hear almost everything happening outside the room. Service (3/10): upon check-out we were told that one of the non-complementary water bottles is missing from the fridge for which we needed to pay (40,000vnd). They said there was a small paper on top of the fridge that shows the count of 2 water bottles while there was clearly only 1! The fridge was small it has space to hold only 1.5 bottles and it was so funny seeing the room guy trying to squeeze the 2nd bottle to show me that they had previously put 2 bottles in there then looked around the room finding the hidden bottle. Didn’t want to argue further so we just paid for it. Overall a pleasant experience became sour for the sake of a bottle. Would not come back again.

The 150m² villa for two was a bit excessive. Having the bedrooms on the second floor meant constant stair climbing, which wasn't ideal. The pool was amazing for a late-night dip, but lacked privacy. We had to keep the curtains closed all the time because the bungalows are quite close together, offering a direct view into each other's windows. Breakfasts were unimpressive. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant were overpriced. There are no other dining options nearby, and getting a taxi to Da Nang was a hassle. Taxis were a real problem; trying to get one to nearby attractions like Lady Buddha or the eco-trail required a lot of effort to summon a Max or hail one on the street. The hotel staff also offered their transport services, but the prices were unfortunately not reasonable. The beach, however, was stunning, and it made up for many of the hotel's shortcomings. It had a sandy bottom and no waves. In summary: the pros equal the cons. While you get seclusion and nature, the lack of dining options and the taxi problem were significant drawbacks. It's a great spot for a couple of days.

Overall: A super high-value resort for relaxation! You get the same beach as Da Nang resorts for a fraction of the price. Next time, I'm definitely coming straight here for a longer stay. ⭐️ Ambiance: Absolutely beautiful! The private beach is exactly as pictured, no filters needed, with fine, clean sand. The hotel layout genuinely feels like a seaside village, giving off a 'Vattori Village' vibe. It's incredibly tranquil both day and night, far from the hustle and bustle – a perfect place to unwind and recharge. Definitely a great escape for anyone needing a break! 😎 ⭐️ Breakfast: A fantastic spread with various Vietnamese specialties like Cao Lau and Quang Nam chicken noodles, all beautifully presented and very appetizing – highly recommend! The Vietnamese coffee is also delicious and not overly sweet. ⭐️ Facilities: The room size, view, and natural light are all excellent, with a charming resort-style decor. It's not a brand-new hotel, but it's well-maintained. Don't go in with sky-high expectations though; if you prefer luxurious, modern, and highly polished interiors, you might want to consider other options. ⭐️ Service: Very good! We accidentally broke something, and they came to clean it up immediately. All our requests were met without being overly enthusiastic. Every day after housekeeping, they light a lemongrass scented candle 🕯️ – that feeling of walking into a room filled with lemon fragrance, who can relate?! 🥳

This was the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. The environment is beautiful and very clean, and the room assigned by the handsome guy at the front desk was perfect! The swimming pool is right outside our door. We booked a sea-view room with an ocean view, so it was quite expensive. However, the same room on other platforms, like Gaode or [Platform Name Redacted], offered the same sea-view room with double breakfast for significantly less on the same day. So, Ctrip definitely seems to be price gouging loyal customers. We compared prices on Gaode and found it to be much cheaper. The last four pictures show the price comparison! It's worth comparing prices across multiple platforms before booking.

We stayed at Anfada Hotel as a family and booked a two-bedroom unit. To our surprise, we had the entire floor to ourselves! Our unit had three bathrooms — one in each bedroom plus a guest bathroom near the kitchen. The huge king-size beds were amazing! We slept incredibly well. The views from all the windows were absolutely beautiful, and everything was very clean. There are two rooftop pools where we had a wonderful and fun time together as a family. We also really appreciated that the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage at reception both before check-in and after check-out. This made our day so much easier, as we could explore the city without carrying all our bags. Thank you to the hotel staff for this excellent service — all our belongings were kept perfectly safe. Our only suggestion would be to renovate the kitchen cabinets. They look quite worn, and there are large gaps around some of the cabinet doors. This stands out especially because the rest of the unit looks very nice and well maintained. Overall, we loved our stay so much that we didn't want to leave. We would definitely stay here again!

This resort has the most affordable rates among the other higher-tiered resorts along this stretch of beach so you get what you pay for correspondingly. (1) Room: I was given a free upgrade from Superior garden room to Premium deluxe garden room in a 5-storey building with lifts. I like the huge space and balcony (2 main differences from the Superior room). Essential items found in room: safe, hairdryer, kettle, minibar, toiletries, 42” smart TV, rubber flip flops, bottled water and towels of different sizes. No bathrobe or ironing equipment. Furnishings - obviously old and worn especially the dirty balcony chairs/table, the stained/peeled veneer on tray for the toiletries and room's discoloured phone. Spring mattress creaked with even slight movements - not ideal but bearable. Most important to me: my room was clean, facilities worked fine and I didn't see any insects or detect any foul smell. (2) Service: Staff are poorly trained. Most are indifferent and slow especially the staff in the restaurant during breakfast hours (6.30 - 10 am). None of them understood the urgent need to clear tables quickly or replenish cutlery, glasses, cups etc (all were used up befor 9 am on some days). Many dirty tables and staff were oblivious to them. The best staff are the housekeeping team - the most pleasant and responsive! (3) Location: safe, beautiful and fairly clean for beach strolls, more appealing than My Khe beach (definitely less crowded). Two new minimarts within 10 minutes' walk from hotel (one directly opposite Marriott and one opposite Koi resort). Some small restaurants diagonally across the road. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, mostly due to the wonderful beach, just metres away, in front of the hotel. The affordable room rate (at the time of my hotel search) was certainly another big draw too!

Hoang Sa is located 10 minutes from the beach, that's the main advantage. The area is not very comfortable for walking or picturesque but there are shops nearby, cheap laundry services, market, exchange office. We stayed in 3 different deluxe rooms during about 3 weeks. All rooms are spacious with big beds. The air conditioner was old and working with some trouble in 2 rooms. The shower was great. Wi fi was quite good. There are a lot of ants around the desk in one room. Great service at the reception and room service every day, they always brought water, toilet paper and tea. There was some noise from the construction nearby and some karaoke outside from time to time. The lift was fast. They also provide baggage storage at the reception, we went away for a week and left suitcases there. The location is not far from My An and the sights. There are a lot of massage salons in the street, prices are affordable.

Spacious and beautiful room with large windows, letting in lots of light. The room also has a bathtub. The staff are pleasant and friendly, and there's a large pool on the rooftop. On the first floor, there's a gym with exercise equipment and mirrors. The second floor features a spa and sauna. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the sea and boasts a good location with shops and cafes nearby.
