Beachcomber Island Hotels with Airport pickup service

Overall a poor experience. Customer service. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and have the bula spirit, however our stay was tainted by some unfriendly staff at the main restaurant by the pool, which some of the staff don’t want to help providing baby chair and just forgot about the requests after all. The restaurant staff just simply looks very unhappy or tired for some reasons. We have met some very friendly face and lovely staff, but it was unfortunate the restaurant customer service is consistently horrible. Front desk staff shows don’t show the same level of hospitality as to other hotels we stay in Fiji. Room: It’s showing it’s aged but the view is fantastic and room is well equipped and spacious, it suits well for family with a plan to cook. We notified the staff that two of the pendant lights aren’t working on day one. Yet nothing is fixed until check out. Food: We try buffet breakfast and dinners at the main restaurant and also take away from the red Buddha restaurant. Breakfast is pretty standard and average considering it’s Hilton, we stay at many Hilton hotels before, the food is one of the worst experience we had, in particular the buffet dinner, choices are very limited, it’s pretty much just a corner of food , pretty subpar comparing to Sofitel or Sheraton. Overall. With similar price it is hard to recommend this hotel to family especially with kids, the staff seems to have too much trouble to handle the demand of young kids and didn’t stand up to the great Hilton branding which is a bit of a shame. Rooms got beautiful view, foods aren’t great. The only bright spot would be the spacious hotel room.

Our stay at the Sheraton on Tokoriki Island was lovely. Every member of staff is local Fijian living on nearby islands and are always happy and love playing with the kids, friends can be made everywhere. Big shoutout especially to John the fantastic bartender who made each person feel like his brother or sister and made fantastic drinks. There’s so much else to say so I’ll go over some things I would’ve been interested in knowing before my stay: -snorkeling trips and boat rides to Castaway island and other islands are available at somewhat reasonable prices -shampoo, body wash, and lotion are all provided with many medications, sunscreen, snacks, souvenirs and other necessities available in hotel shop open everyday -don’t forget an outlet adapter -ask about the daily activity schedule (activities every hour) and the walking trails to a beautiful hidden beach with amazing seashells and fruit trees -talk to the chefs, they will make you something off the menu or something that is special to them -getting up and out of the room early around sunrise was one of the best things we did -make sure to get the breakfast buffet added on, many options of food and makes the morning extra relaxing -tap water seems safe to drink now (older reviews say otherwise) and is served at meals but we were still glad we brought a few 1L bottles on the boat with us from Nadi -beach is empty most of the time as most people seemed to stay at the pool, renting equipment is variable based on sea swells and other weather conditions so take advantage when you can -food is pricey especially with some plates having very small amounts of food, if all inclusive there are many delicious things to try -if you are looking to relax by reading and swimming staying here for a week or more is east, if you’re looking for adventure stop here for a couple days then move to a different island Overall, each and every member of the staff wants you to have a memorable time. Transportation: From vuda Marina, the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off. Going to other places needs to communicate with the island owner. The boss is super enthusiastic. Going to cloud9 also found his friends to send us. Although the boat to cloud9 is not good, it is very exciting (500fjd a boat) Hygiene: Health is still very clean, Sapporo is around the island after snorkeling, you will bring a lot of sand to the bed. After the explosion of Shangri-La brand hotel (brand hotel is a lot of people, the service staff is not very enthusiastic, even ordering is not positive, water is not given). The service staff on the island will even remember your name to say hello. When there are many people, there are kava welcome parties and bonfire parties. It makes people feel that all aspects are served very thoughtfully. After returning to the main island, the hotel will arrange for you to rent. We emphasized that we have to play the watch (the driver who does not play the watch is slaughtered indiscriminately), the taxi from vuda Marina to Shangri-La hotel is less than 80 dollars, but from Shangri-La to the airport is slaughtered indiscriminately by brand hotel 120 dollars. Advantages: warm service, super enthusiasm, few people in the island, can play alone on the beach, the island is very quiet, the water around the island is also very good, there are many fish and turtles Disadvantages: There are many free activities (boating, paddleboarding) that need to be consulted by yourself. There are no bright corals nearby. The brunch is relatively simple. Wi-Fi is not good.

We were lucky enough to experience the Adults Only Waitui Beach Club Package which gave us a little bit more luxury of being pampered at the Spa and entry into the more sophisticated Journal Lounge. At the lounge we had daily complimentary high tea which was delightful, Bubbly with Breakfast and delicious complimentary sunset cocktails or Gin and Tonic with a beer for Hubby! The staff in the Executive Lounge went above and beyond with their service, in particular Payal who had such grace and Professionalism, Kara with her infectious laugh and Agnes who was a delight with her quiet demeanor. Mili, Loyalty Supervisor, thank you for checking with us that our stay was meeting our expectation (which it was) and giving us an insight on how the resort was travelling since Covid. Waitui Beach Club Grill...you cook an excellent steak and your staff's recommendation of the fish curry was spot on considering I hadn't tasted one before. Thank you to your staff who always made us feel welcome, especially Vau who always remembered our names throughout our stay! A big thank you to Claire too for indulging me with some French conversation which I remembered from my school days! Finally, thank you to Solo for your professionalism and friendly nature in both checking us in and out. We ran out of paper to note down more staff but please note you are all exceptional too. Usaia is the best employee here. His unbelievable service made my honeymoon perfect and fantastic. He recommended and taught me lots of information here in Sheraton and Fiji. Actually, we were only one Asian couple, so everything was too new for us, but bying talking with Usaia, he made us feel relaxed and better. I highly recommend Sheraton because of Usaia and his service. Thank you, Usaia. We stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of our trip before heading to a remote island. This is a great spot to stay on Denarau if you are not looking for a resort experience and the price tag that comes with it. The location was great, easily walkable to the marina where you’ll find great dinner spots and a supermarket. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the palms - the cafe there was lovely. When we checked out of the Palms I realised I’d left my phone at the cafe, one of the ladies kept it safe for me and I was able to have our driver go back and get it for us while we checked in for our domestic flight. High praise for the staff, who were all wonderful. Later in our trip we stayed at a villa at the Hilton. Honestly the Palms has the same type of rooms that are in much better condition than the Hilton, for a fraction of the price. Yes it’s not the same type of place, but if you just need a few nights and aren’t after a resort experience, the palms is a great choice. And if you do want a resort experience, choose anywhere but the Hilton.

The health is good, but the service is really average. There were no slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bathrobes in the room. The waiter only dragged the floor to clean the room. He did not make beds or give free mineral water. I have paid the full price when I booked the hotel, and I have to charge it again when I check out ... Also, the price is really high!

When I went to the Maldives, I felt that the natural environment was too ordinary. The rooms are small and the details show the general management of the hotel. The front desk bill will be wrong. Please allow enough time for inspection. Staff service attitude is good, can be five stars. Go snorkeling five stars on a beach island in the middle of the sea! !!

Chinese family guests, I think 2 to 4 days on the island is not right, it is worth the accommodation experience. The accommodation on the island has its own characteristics, the house is very special, and the sea view is within easy reach. Very shallow beach. Fijian cultural activities with children on the island can participate, hair braiding is 120 RMB and 40 Fijian dollars. Children's buffet is 55 Fijian dollars and 165 RMB. Catering is a problem when taking the elderly, the food is too westernized, and there is no choice. If the elderly have taboos and high blood sugar, please consider carefully. There are 3 restaurants on the island, but often only one is open. The average head consumption is between 240 and 330 RMB per meal. For island expenses, make sure you have cash or multiple credit cards.
