本次入主城堡的8號房，擁有完美的窗外河景，自然的水流白噪音完全可以蓋過汽車發出聲響。夜晚房外的廊燈是漸亮式的假火炬燈，在偌大且黑暗的環境中顯得有些不足，畢竟為了省電而改成感應式，屬實就有點嚇人的氣氛。冬天入住房內的固定式供暖設備過於老舊，因此熱度永遠上不去，建議自衣櫃中取出可移動式暖爐，避免夜晚裡凍僵了！

Très beau bâtiment, à l’extérieur et dans les espaces communs. Personnel aux petits soins, très gentil serviable, souriant et sympathique.
Dommage pour la propreté pas au top, la chambre pas du tout insonorisée et assez vieillotte, et pas de climatisation.

Prachtige oude abdij waarin je omgeven wordt door historie. Neem de optie van een luxe kamer met Loire uitzicht op de eeuwenoude brug. Sanitair is brandnieuw en luxueus. Heerlijk gegeten van de op houtvuur bereide gerechten, inclusief de Apple crumble als desert. (Nb buiten seizoen kan restaurant dicht zijn, voldoende alternatieven op loopafstand) Prima ontbijt.

Super accueil! Très belle abbaye, vrai monument historique. Chambre (ancienne cellule de moine!) très agréable avec belle douche. Belle vue sur la Loire - diner sur la terrasse avec un rôti de poulet cuisiné dans une énorme cheminée, très bonne qualité. Revenons avec plaisir!

Chambre assez rustique pour le prix mais c'set tout de même une ancienne abbaye et le luxe n'était pas dans la tradition monacale! Par contre il est impératif d'être en forme physique pour les heureux élus du troisième étage... correspondant à 5 étages modernes, et bien sûr sans ascenseur, mais avec bagages en plus! Soit environ 80 marches à escalader à plusieurs reprises! A plus de 81 berges j'y suis tout de même arrivé et je n'en suis pas peu fier! Est 'ce que les normes handicapés s'appliquent aussi aux lieux historiques recevant du public?

We loved our time at this hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely and we felt welcomed right away. The hotel is very interesting and it was a treat to stay somewhere unique. Our spacious room was on the top floor with a great view, big bed and a huge brand new bathroom. Dinner was absolutely delicious - we ate on the terrace overlooking the river and I would definitely advise that if the weather is warm enough. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary, it's worth a stay for that alone!

Das Hotel ist seit Jahren eins unser Lieblingsspots auf der Fahrt an den Atlantik. Die Lage ist wunderschön und der Ort sehr süß. Das Hotel ist beeindruckend und sehr gut erhalten. Man fühlt die Vergangenheit und es ist wirklich faszinierend wenn man die alten Treppenstufen hinaufsteigt. Im letzten Jahr wurde viel Investiert und zum Beispiel die Fassade, der Wintergarten und vor allem die Badezimmer komplett renoviert. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und auch das Abendessen etwas besonderes. Herzlichen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt und bis zum nächsten Jahr.

Magnifique lieu en cours de renovation ce qui permet de profiter d un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel. Séjour très agréable. Accueil et services très sympathiques. Tres bon dîner à la rôtisserie et petit déjeuner parfait. Nous reviendrons!9 Il faudrait trouver un lieu où entreposer le linge plutôt que dans le magnifique escalier. Cela gâche la photo!

Zweiter Aufenthalt nach zwei Jahren und weiteren umfangreichen Renovierungen dieses einmaligen historischen Gebäudes an der römischen Brücke über der Loire. Wieder sehr freundlicher Empfang und Service. Individuell eingerichtetes Zimmer (ehemals Mönchzelle) mit modernem Badezimmer. Das neu eröffnete Restaurant mit Rôtisserie im großen Renaissance-Kamin bietet eine sehr gute Küche zu auskömmlichen Preisen an. Das Frühstück mit vielen lokalen Produkten ist ein toller Start in den Tag!
