The hotel is conveniently located. Lines 10 and 8 are around 10 minutes away on foot. There's a small supermarket with fruit and vegetables, apart from regular stuff, nearby. The room is nice ans clean. They provide toothbrushes ans toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and body wash (that's not too common fpr Beijing). There's a fridge, a tea set, ans a kettle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is the sound isolation, as i could hear the lift and pretty much all the people walking and talking in the hall. It was okay for the rooms next to me, though.

The front desk service needs to be improved. I asked for a room at the front or the back, but they still gave me a room at the front or the back. The superior room I booked for the first night was more than 100 yuan more expensive than the group purchase for the next few days, and there was no breakfast. The front desk said that because I was staying in an ordinary room for the next few days, they still gave me an ordinary room for consecutive stays, and no compensation was given. The hot spring coupons in the package were not given to me proactively. I asked after staying for two days before they were given. The restaurant was crowded in the morning and the management was chaotic. I couldn't find a seat. There were too many people and the waiters didn't clean up the tables used by the guests in time. The rice balls were given to each person unlimitedly on the first day, so the people behind couldn't get in line. The chef who baked the sesame cakes also treated them differently. He gave them to each person based on the number of people. Some were not given and some were sent over. The cleaning of the guest rooms was also perfunctory in the next few days. very cute and lovely hotel for a couple, front desk doesn't really speak english but with a little understanding of chinese u can easily pass through it. you're also able to choose your room yourself and switch rooms every single day to check the others out. bathtub was really nice, sadly in one of the rooms the bathtub was slightly broken as the water was more room temp. theres also a mirror on top of the bed, which was interesting. the area wasn't bad and it was just easy to get around. will definitely go here again!

When entering the hotel I was greeted by Leo at the front desk and he was very helpful throughout the process and also helped link my membership to the room as I had forgotten to do so. Although there was a small issue with the room, after bringing it up to the front desk they were very prompt in solving the issue and apologetic showing their sincerity. Was overall a good experience.

Love this hotel! Everything is rather dated but that adds to the charm of the place. We booked a business suite for five nights and it was like home away from home, but better because of a bathtub! There was a large living room with decent furniture and wardrobes, a small kitchen with oven, microwave, and fridge freezer, a washing machine tucked in a corner near the small but functional bathroom, and there was a large balcony with views to the adjacent compound. The bed was large and comfortable, we slept well. There was a faint hum of traffic from the nearby highway but not a problem. We stayed in 1102 which is on the east side of the building. Staff were friendly and everything was very clean, breakfast was simple Chinese food. We hired bicycles to travel the 10 minute journey to Jiandemen metro. If you want to feel like a foreign expert staying in Beijing two or three decades ago this is the place, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

This hostel is fine for solo travellers. It was clean and service was good, a little bit distant but Subway is within 1 km. A lot of restaurants nearby.
