Hotels near Haizi Folk Village, Beijing

We have booked four nights for Christmas vacation for the family. The Yuyang Skiing area is about 30 minutes by car. There are also some hiking spots around. Unfortunately the lake access was closed due to being off season. The hotel is big and modern. Though only few people were there in this time, the Service and breakfast and dinner was on a Good Standard. The hotel has nice floor hearing in the rooms, but Initially we had some problems in one room, it was just too hot. Ling, the English speaking assistant manager helped organize another room for the next nights which was very comfortable. She was a big support and frequently checked in on us. All was good. Recommend it especially in spring / summer when lake access is given.

The room was booked on May 1st for 490 per night. The room was quite large overall. There were a few things that were not good. First, the bathroom was very small. The toilet and the shower area were separated by a curtain. After taking a shower, the whole bathroom was quite humid and foggy. Because the space was too small, the ventilation was not very good. Second, the bathroom door was not easy to open and close. Third, the window was very small, there was no balcony, the overall facilities were old, and the lighting was dim. The advantages were that the hotel was quite clean, and the outdoor environment inside the hotel was good, with a lake, plants, and rockery. It depends on your needs.

Stayed in Fengming for two nights in the four seasons and chose the peacock room. I was so happy that the baby said he couldn't bear to leave! It is not far to drive to supermarket restaurants, Jinhai Lake, UFOs and large caves. We grabbed the Beijing suburb accommodation voucher and it was a fleece. This is a Japanese pastoral style homestay run by a young man as big as us. Backed by the green mountains full of chestnuts and walnuts, facing a small lawn and vegetable garden. There are fish ponds, cats, dogs, and high popularity, often doing some activities. It is full of music and art, and it is very clean and comfortable. The decoration style is simple but not perfunctory. Everywhere is the details of the heart. We were at the nearby farmhouse for lunch, and breakfast was eaten in the room. The kitchen of the homestay is available and convenient. Very suitable for small accommodation relaxation 😌～

The room is really comfortable in the homestay, the humidity temperature is good, the whole family lives very well; there is air conditioning, there is a heater (it will be a bit dry when turned on), and the electrical appliances are complete. I am familiar with the manager and will remind the kettle to give more water, because it is not a 24-hour service, so I have a preparedness. The sleep atmosphere is comparable to a five-star hotel. I hope it is also the development goal of Halloween Valley in the homestay. The surrounding area went to Lushan, Shilin Gorge, etc., the scenery is excellent.

The gentleman at the office was very helpful and arranged cars to take us to our chosen destinations and brought us water and teabags when asked. For dinner they arranged food that we could eat as we don't eat meat.... we were grateful. The only downfall was the breakfast,but guests personal preference, this stopped using from staying an extra night, especially the attitude of the last working there.

Like a midsummer night's dream. I forgot to take photos in the room. I ordered a loft. The three big and one small are enough. The bedding configuration is not like a hotel. It is very comfortable. It cannot be eaten to the accommodation area. Although it is inconvenient, it gives a sense of security. The ground is very clean and the bare feet do not feel dirty. Every corner can feel the intention of the hostess. There is an easy bar downstairs. Even if you don’t live, it’s a good choice to come to the cafe to check in.
