Hotels near Tishun Hall, Beijing

The place is located in one of Beijing’s hutongs. I would greatly recommend taking a stroll at least once to experience the true Beijing style of living. It’s also in the vicinity of Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and Jingshan Park for which to see all you will need a whole day for sure

Service at reception was okay. But the breakfast was very poor quality and misleading. It was very expensive and the goods were not freshly baked as described the portions small. Additionally there were no people around to serve. I had to go to the kitchen to find someone.

The hotel looked luxurious and the location is good. Three minutes away from the metro station. It is also walking distance to the famous Wangfujing. However, I was disappointed with one of the receptionist where she was not very patient and gave us an attitude when we asked for recommendation for places to visit. She just said there was a shopping street nearby and kept frowning at us. Other than her, the rest were all very welcoming and professional. The room is exceptional too.

The aircon was in poor condition and started dripping in the afternoon. The staff temporarily stopped the water flow after working at it for an hour. But it started pouring buckets in the middle of the night, so we had to turn the aircon off on a summer night. The next day I requested for some compensation, short of a full refund for the night. Yet the boss did not entertain the request. I did not make a fuss of it, but I think it’s was not done in good taste. Otherwise the location is excellent as it’s walking distance to most tourist locations and night markets. The rooms are small but amenities are adequate. Beds are comfortable and clean.

Amazing. Highly recommend. Great value for the size, 4 times the size of a regular hotel room. Would def rebook and stay at this Marriott in Beijing in the future. Fully equipped amenities and full kitchen. Housekeeping everyday and helped wash the dishes and offered to wash clothing, even though the suite has a washing machine, dish washing machine, stainless steel pots, etc. Only 3 mins walking distance to one of the best high-end malls, Wangfu Central 王府中環. My mother just had a hip-replacement surgery and has trouble walking in the snow or long distances, so location to everything was prime importance, this hotel was only 5-6 min walk to all the essential banks we needed to visit. Also, was hoping to take her to a few hot springs to relieve numbness and pain in her legs, but the bath tub in the spacious bathroom was so huge and comfortable we often stayed in to take turns soaking in the tub instead of going to the hot springs. Also, they had an indoor temperature controlled swimming pool, so we went swimming every other day, and used their gym. The swimming pool was empty and had 3 life guards guarding the swimming. All I can say is this apartment hotel is one of the best you can book in Beijing.

The room is excellent - it's clean and comfortable. Li Yiran at the front desk was particularly polite and very helpful! Thank you. The other two guy staff members who assisted us on the first day were also good. While the hotel does not have an elevator, they were considerate enough to assign us a room on a lower floor to accommodate our family. One suggestion for improvement in general would be to enhance English language skills among the staff to facilitate better communication for foreign guests. Overall, it was great value for money. When I first walked through the doors of this beautiful hotel…I was shocked. It was like walking through heaven! The staff were so helpful in taking my suitcases, bringing them to my room, and helping me check-in smoothly. I was a little hesitant about not being able to have my room ready since I was checking in at 10am but they were so nice in making sure I had a room and they made this happen through upgrading my friend and I to a larger room! Not only did this make the stay even more enjoyable but the breakfast and pool were also amazing! My pool is huge and clean, but you must wear a swimming cap which they can give you at the front desk before you enter the pool! The pool closes at 11pm which is amazing if you’re a late night swimmer! Breakfast, on the second floor, definitely did not disappoint me as they had a great variety of western and Chinese breakfast. From hash browns, to bacon, to pastries, to fruits! You can definitely get full with this breakfast! I will definitely be coming again in the near future!

Toilet and bathroom are facing and beside the kingbed. People poo, people wee, people bathe, you will enjoy all the smell and scenic shadow view. The staircase are too dangerous for old folks and toddler/ small children. But compliment to warm and helpful staff, free self service washing and drying at basement, free and unlimited chilled soft drinks after 38'c hot days in summer, Children enjoy movie with projector at basement room. Adults enjoy yard at night with chilled beers and snacks. Good and reasonable price of local restaurants next doors. Overall was good experience with family duplex room for 6 nights in Beijing.

Location: Location is king. The hotel is in a good location. It is very convenient to travel. There are many places to eat, drink and have fun nearby. It is very close to Lama Temple. Facilities: Intelligent facilities ~ Convenient. Hygiene: The hotel is very clean. Environment: The overall environment and atmosphere are good. Service: The service provided by the lady is very nice.

The receptionists were very helpful, nice and polite. They proactively offered help to customers. We arrived late on our first day there and ordered take-out. After finishing, we called the staff to take away all the leftovers as the smell was quite strong. The staff took immediate action. We could feel that the staff there strives to provide a good stay experience to their customers. The breakfast there was delicious. The room provided a comfortable a**osphere. My family had a great experience staying this hotel. We won’t hesitate to choose this hotel when we visit Beijing next time.
