Hotels near Yuyuan Garden, Zhongshan Park, Beijing

We request for early checkin at 10am and the hotel allow us without any additional cost. At first, light in the room kept turning on and off and the bell kept ringing. The receptionist changed the room for us immediately and gave us breakfast voucher as complimentary. The receptionists are helpful even they cannot speak english. We use translator to communicate. Overall cleanliness is fine but the toilet is sometimes smelly.

Overall very pleasant stay! Bed was comfortable, room was pretty big, housekeeping did their job well. I only found some small flies in the bathroom each time I went to shower, maybe the drain has an issue underground. They should look into it. Also the smell when I first entered the elevator and my floor were weird, but it faded away quickly. Location is perfect, close to the metro station and the big street with shops. Nice foodcourts close by. Service only lacked in use of English and just general information which they did not provide me. I randomly found the laundry room and a restaurant on the fifth floor which I did not know of. But when I asked a question, they were willing to answer through a translation device. All facilities necessary in the room except a fridge! AC worked, so did hairdryer, and the used toothbrushes etc were replaced each time. Trip says no window room, even though there was a window. Just not a view lol it was pretty weird? I can’t even explain what ‘the view’ was. Could not open the window but it’s still not a dealbreaker and at least I could get some light in.

I took my kids to watch the flag raising ceremony. After comparing many options, I chose Haoyang. Overall, I felt very good. It's a place where every inch of land is worth a lot of money. I just wanted to watch the flag raising ceremony and get up late to be lazy. I didn't expect too much. Because the price seemed to have changed, the girl upgraded me to a standard room with a window in Haoyang Goodnight for free. The service is excellent. I thought it would rain the next day, so I tried to ask if there were any raincoats. I got two sets directly. Although they were thin and disposable, it was quite unexpected. Band-Aids are also standard. In short, I was surprised and quite satisfied. To see the flag raising location, you must make an appointment a few days in advance, and then choose the 07 security checkpoint on the south side of the road on the west side of the square. It's super close. The security checkpoint is at the east entrance. It's best not to bring a bag, and you must go early to stand in front. As long as you make a reservation, it doesn't matter what time it is, just look at the date, so it's right to go to the queue early on the reservation. It is recommended to take a stool or a folding stool. Those who have been there will understand.

As its name implies, Legendale is one of the rare hotels on its genre that offers a wonderful sight, architecture and romantic charm.. our stay was amazing except the view side chosen by the lady receptionist was poor ! I do recommend this hotel for stay & strongly request hotel’s management proceed with renovation works.

The following is my real experience since I stayed here for two days, and I would like to share it with you as a reference when making choices. Service: This hotel has the best and most enthusiastic service we have ever encountered while traveling with our children. First, on the first day of our stay, the guy at the hotel front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room type in the main building for us, took the initiative to carry my luggage, and enthusiastically introduced the hotel facilities and equipment. Second, I feel that the hotel staff are more fond of children. Some bring water to the children to drink, and some bring toys to play with them. Third, after cleaning our room the next day, we put fresh perfume lilies in the vase, which made us feel better. Fourth, on the day of check-out, we troubled the front desk guy and his colleagues to help us carry our heavy suitcases to the car. Thank you very much🙏. Facilities: The overall decoration style of the hotel is the Republic of China style. The furniture is high-end mahogany furniture. It is equipped with Hermès toiletries, wooden toothbrushes and combs. There are free Evian or VOSS mineral water and Corona beer in the refrigerator. Hygiene: The room is clean and smell-free, and most of the facilities are brand new. Environment: Needless to say, it’s perfect for wearing a cheongsam to check in. The atmosphere is full and beautiful!

The receptionists were very helpful, nice and polite. They proactively offered help to customers. We arrived late on our first day there and ordered take-out. After finishing, we called the staff to take away all the leftovers as the smell was quite strong. The staff took immediate action. We could feel that the staff there strives to provide a good stay experience to their customers. The breakfast there was delicious. The room provided a comfortable a**osphere. My family had a great experience staying this hotel. We won’t hesitate to choose this hotel when we visit Beijing next time.

Great value for money. Staff are always very attentive and ready to help if you don't speak chinese. It's clean, and they have regular cleanings every day. The washing and drying machines are free, so you don't need to worry. There is not a lot of socializing in the lobby, but that is just normal in most chinese hostels. Very good place, not too close to everything to avoid recurrent crowds, and not too far to avoid commuting for long.

I stayed for my whole trip and the location is quite good. The receptionist especially the tall slim guy was so kind! He’s so gentle and willing to help even though communication is a challenge. Thank you!! The only thing I can comment is that the bathing/washing area is shared with the customers in the Cafe, it’s quite uncomfortable hopefully next time there’ll be a separate area for us. All else is fine.

Although there’s a bit of walk from the nearest Yongdingmenwai station, but you get to stay in the area of residential neighbourhood away from the busy city. Greet by welcoming staff and I able to leave my luggage first hours before check-in because I reached the city early in the morning. Complimentary coffee and drink available whole day at the lobby. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Everything can be control by the virtual assistant device, by just saying the name and it will respond to you and assist you on anything the device can do. The toilet and shower room has no privacy but you can request to add curtain to it. The hot water for the shower room takes a long time to come out, and the water pressure wasn’t strong enough for me. No safe or fridge in the room unfortunately. So do keep your important personal belongings at a much secure place. On some of the days, they will host movie screening at their rooftop in the evening. There’s also a gym area. If you going for their buffet breakfast, it is located at the basement.

The hotel located in good location , easy to find nd cloaes to MRT , Jingson station by walk in a few minute. Lots of convenience store nd resturant around here. , The room very clean big enough for our group of 4 people. 2 bed room with 4 single bed. Love this hotel , if i come to Beijing again surely i must stay here.
