We booked a Premier Plus room as we were celebrating a birthday. The only positive was the location. If was perfect for exploring Belfast with plenty of nice bars subs restaurant nearby. There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee pods. There was no complimentary water or sweet treats as stated there would be when we booked. When we asked at the reception desk we we're told that there was no coffee pods or sweet treats available and that the water would be brought to the room. It never was. The room was no different to a standard room. In fact, we started in a standard Premier Inn room in Leeds 3 weeks ago and the room was far superior. We only had one towel in the room so another trip to reception. The kettle didn't work. The switch had to wedged down to make it work. By this point I couldn't be bothered to walk down to reception again. The shower didn't drain properly. The whole tray just filled with water and drained away very very slowly. Tuesday night the noise was ridiculous. There seemed to be a young group staying that had attended a prom. They were running up and down the corridor until 4am until someone seemingly shouted at them and they all stopped.

The hotel has an excellent location - plus just around 15 minutes away (walk) from the SSE Arena. The bedroom and bathroom were very tidy and clean. Everything looked well looked after. The heating system was really good and the room got warm very fast. The streets can be a bit noisy early evening, but nothing too bad, the noise stops late in the evening. The lift is old and dirty - as my husband and I were on the third floor we just decided to use the stairs instead, I didn't feel safe inside their lift. You can leave your bags with them at reception until the check in time. The staff - I have mixed feelings and this is probably why I am not rating this hotel excellent. In the morning before checking in my husband and I went to drop some bags and the staff at the reception looked very annoyed and we didn't feel welcome at all. They didn't check who we were and just asked us to leave our bags there. They kept their office doors opened for over 1 hour (I stayed at reception charging my phone and noticed this), anyone could have gone inside where they keep the bags. It felt unprofessional. In the afternoon/evening - the staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly, a completely different service from the morning. Overall, it's a good hotel for the value paid.

We stayed in a premier plus room and we were very impressed with the room. The bed was very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Great location. Very close to shopping area and lots of great food options around the hotel. Reduced parking at car park was a bonus.

Such a warm welcome! I arrived for a family funeral sadly, but David on Reception was so helpful, sensitive and caring that I was really taken aback. It is rare for such understanding to be shown these days and I just can’t thank him enough for the kindness which really made a difficult trip much easier.

Have stayed here before as it’s a great location and the beds are comfortable. Selected a Premier Plus room as an extra treat. Arrived at 2.20 and tried to check in at reception. Room not ready which is fine before 3. We agreed with reception that we would go to the bar and she would give us a shout when room was ready. That didn’t happen. Went back to reception at 3.10 and there was a queue out the door of people trying to check in. Tried check in machine, neither of them working, they printed a bit of paper but no keys. Not a great start at all. Felt sorry for poor girl who was on reception from 3 with so many people, most of us very unhappy with the pathetic process. Got to room and no water, no coffee pods, one tea bag. Disappointed. Got the guy who was cleaning other rooms who said they had no water. The room itself was well appointed, the bed comfy, shower gel etc good quality, shower good. Breakfast was excellent. Very good quality items and plenty of choice. Bacon and sausages tasty and properly cooked. Freshly baked croissants also pancakes, crumpets, bread and good choice of preserves. Variety of juices and cereals. Better than breakfast we have had in more expensive Belfast hotels. Needs a bit of management to make sure that things are working properly for example check in process and checking room servicing.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Very modern and well fitted. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar/restaurant area is spacious and well lit. I had paid for the full unlimited breakfast, but the chef didn't turn up on the day so I had to have the continental option instead. The lifts are looking very tired and worse for wear.

Facilities were not there especially when the whole town was shut down. I understand that the chef hadn't come in but there was no chef the day before either and was made to feel uncomfortable for asking for continental breakfast. Felt as if staff didn't want to be there even when customers who were checking out had no where to go.
