I had wonderful stay when I went for a Penn State football weekend. It was so homey and Connie and Steve were such great hosts I felt like I was staying with family. The coffee tray outside the room in the morning was a great touch, and the Crème Brûlée French toast (and perfectly crispy bacon) for breakfast was out of this world! I appreciated being an easy drive from the University while away from the hustle and bustle and much more reasonably priced than anything in State College. Thanks also for the flexibility on check-in time, breakfast time, and excellent communication!

This was a beautiful colonial home built in 1809 restored and decorated magnificently to a B&B. Connie and Steve are amazing hosts and Connie’s cooking and baking were all world. Absolutely loved it and Bellefonte PA is a beautiful small town 15 mins from Penn State :) Thank you again Connie and Steve. Doug and Hilary

Hosts are wonderful, very welcoming and gracious. They very kindly messaged in preparation for our arrival, provided wonderful resources for our stay, and created a lovely atmosphere for the long weekend. Additional touches like coffee outside of our room in the morning and Connie’s wonderful cookies on arrival were so thoughtful! And I’m not sure I’ve ever had two more delicious breakfasts!!!

My husband and I will be staying here every time we come to this area. Not only is the b&b located in a great spot close to restaurants and rivers and creeks, the owners are the sweetest most helpful people I have ever met. The rooms and bathroom are beautiful and clean with everything you need. Connie makes the most AMAZING breakfast we have ever tasted and makes it at the time you ask for! Each meal was more tasty and beautiful than the last. Steve was so kind and so helpful. He literally drove us to show us fishing spots because we were new to the area. Absolutely incredible.

What a beautiful B&B and Connie and Steve were amazing hosts. Do not miss the chance to stay here if you make it up that way. This is an experience, not just a place to stay. I will definitely be staying again if the opportunity presents itself.

We had a wonderful two-day stay in this lovely Victorian being pampered by Connie and Steve, the owners, who do everything right! Best breakfast that we've ever had in a B&B (or actually anywhere for that matter!). Quiet and comfortable room in a lovely setting. Very close to Penn State (＜15 minutes) which enabled us to stay close by on a graduation weekend.

Our visit was a special occasion – my daughter’s graduation from PSU – and Connie and Steve were terrific at adding to what will be lifelong memories. They could not be any kinder to our entire family, accommodating our special and regular dietary needs. They allowed us to immediately feel at home. The breakfasts were outstanding. Homemade and delicious. The breakfast desserts were yummy. The beds were very comfortable. town of Bellefonte is what you would hope for in a neighboring small town. Just an outstanding experience overall. With my daughter graduating, we are inclined to think of reasons for returning to Riffles and Runs. Thank you, Connie and Steve, for a special experience.
