Usual Premier Inn Standard, great for travelling. Retail stop prior to a long drive to the South of the UK. If price had been higher would of scrapped that part of the trip. Have stayed at Premier Inn's before, this lives up to the standard. Breakfast and evening meal package good value, taking the drama out of having to search around.

The whole experience of this stay was dreadful !! When we arrived after a 4 hrs drive we were in need of refreshments and toilet facilities, but the adjoining establishment where they offer food and drinks was all locked up. So my husband asked if we could check in ( 30 minutes early) only to be told that it would cost us £10 🤔 what a joke. So we sat and waited in the car. At check-in we had been allocated a 1st floor room ( normally this isn't an issue because we know it has a lift ) but we hadn't been informed prior to our visit that they didn't have that facility during our stay, and I'm unable to get up and down so many steps. We were eventually found a ground floor room, which we were told by reception that it wasn't set up for 2 people and so they would bring us the extra towels etc to our room ( after waiting an hour this didn't happen) As we left to visit our family and asked about the extra things, we were told that they would be at reception for us when we returned. When we arrived back, there wasn't any staff on reception, so we couldn't get the items needed. The room it was absolutely awful. The carpet was so filthy and very badly stained it felt dirty to stand on , so we had to wear shoes the whole time ( even to use the bathroom during the night ) There was a lot of paint missing from the wall, which looked so scruffy and unkempt. We had 2 holes in the ceiling. And stains on the other wall that looked like blood 🤢 we took photos of these things because we weren't happy, and knew that we were going to make a complaint. When we were leaving the receptionist never looked up from the desk, so we just left the key card on the desk, because we didn't have time to wait for her. We were on a very tight visit and had photographed the issues and reported them by email ( twice) once we got back, but they weren't acknowledged. Premier Inn only messaged me when I put my options of our 1 night stay on a Facebook post. They've asked for the photos, which I've sent them, only now to be told, that because we hadn't reported it at the time, they're basically saying ( SORRY !! NOT SORRY ) Not prepared to do anything about it. They put the fancy video advertising up saying they are all about a good stay, with CLEAN COMFORTABLE ROOMS. Well we certainly didn't get that in any shape or form !!!

The most terrible premier Inn I've stayed in. The bed was hard and lumpy, the shower head was full of mould and I didn't get a wink of sleep because the radiator squeaked all night long. The breakfast the next morning was inedible - all the hot food options were cold and the rest of the food was either stale or non existent. The staff were no where to be seen to complain.

For a hotel that advertise the comfort of there beds and having stayed in Premier Inn before this fell well below expectation. My wife and myself had the worst sleep ever on a not very comfortable bed.Usually you get what tou pay for but people opt for a £60 room at premier inns because of there now I expect hyped advertising and I also suspect Lenny Henry has not been to the Bellshill one.Staff non plusses, restaurant next door was like the Marie celestial with at best average food.We paid the 10.99 for the breakfast of day old reheated bacon, weak coffee, overcooked black pudding.Staff we saw in there were friendly enough though but with a mcdonalds opposite there would be a better option .In all of this though is the sleep and that was impossible on the bed in our room.

Easy to find location, easy check-in and parking. Room was typical Prem Inn bedroom; clean, tidy, comfy, everything works, no annoying outside noises, warm etc. Service in the restaurant was poor during my stay. No-one asking if I wanted more drinks, no-one checked on extras nor dessert. Breakfast service was terrible - paid for cooked, no-one took my order.

Comfy beds and good amenities. The family room was really spacy even with the extra 2 single beds. Staff was welcoming and always smiley.
