I cannot recommend the service at Comfort Inn Benalla highly enough. The owners were attentive, helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs in exceptional circumstances, when thing went awry on our family weekend away. Comfortable beds, rooms have everything you need (but warning: coffee is instant), and location is 900m from the gallery. Highly recommend.

We always book direct with the owners as we always get the best price. We rang and enquired about a room for the night and asked the difference between the new economy queen and the premium Queen. The premium Queen has new mattresses and is located at the back of the motel away from the road so for an extra $10 for a quiet room it's worth the bit extra. We paid $125 and were extremely pleased with the room. Very comfortable bed & pillows, large TV, the usual tea and coffee, plates, large mugs, dish washing detergent etc. We were able to wash our travelling mugs. A big plus with this motel is the undercover parking in front of every room. It was raining heavily when we left the next morning so to be able to get our luggage and ourselves in the car without getting wet was wonderful. Just reverse in. Tastefully decorated with everything supplied except tissues, the room was very clean & quiet and we'll stay there on our return trip home.
