We stayed for our anniversary but won’t be staying again. The staff were very nice and the room was fine itself but the bed was terrible and the room was incredibly noisy!! My husband is a very patient man, almost too patient at times I think and this constant walking upstairs for hours on end made him soo mad it actually had me laughing. We could not believe how loud it was with the people upstairs walking back and forth until at least 2am “not even kidding” when we finally managed to pass out from sheer exhaustion. We woke up at 4 with low back pain from the hard bed and both decided to leave because it wasn’t worth trying to fall back asleep on that mattress and then having to listen to the people upstairs who would be walking back and forth again we figured soon. What was driving us crazy was what in the world could they have been doing for hours on end walking around in that small room?? It was so loud with each step and we could hear them talking and walking and water then walking..... ahhhh we were able to find the humor in it on the drive home with our seat warmers on for our back pain and strong coffees for the sleep deprivation, but we won’t be making a return trip. Lovely staff and nice location though. ;)

I would like to thank the staff at this hotel! Traveling from NY to Redmond was challenging to say the least. Checked in at 12:30 pm when we were supposed to arrive at 1 in afternoon. Thank you American Airlines for poor service. Front desk Manager was wonderful as our luggage never made it. She provided us with toiltries to get us through the morning. This was our second stay here. Clean, bright and courteous. Relax hour at 4 i believe with complintary wine and craft beer with cheese, bread, olives. Board games scattered about. Please throw some dollars in the gratuity cup! Breakfast is provided with a different hot course daily along with continental accompaniments. Coffee rotated constantly throughout the day. There was also 3 tea selections in the evenings with unique fresh blends.

Location: The location of the hotel is good, the town of Bend is not big, it is very convenient to drive anywhere; but it is a bit far from the river, where the riverside is the most beautiful and the most visited. Service: The service is quite good, the people in the town are very polite and enthusiastic; Breakfast: The hotel breakfast is quite rich, especially the barbecue pieces are very good; Cost-effective: The price is quite high, whether it is a business trip or a trip, it is a good choice.

We made a last-minute decision to escape the Portland drizzle and spend the weekend in Bend. We chose the Oxford Hotel as it is in the perfect location to explore the boutiques and restaurants downtown, Old Bend, and the Deschutes river walking trail. We were completely satisfied with all aspects of the Oxford. While it is one of the more expensive options for staying in Bend, the cleanliness, service, and location make it absolutely worth the price.

Location is perfect. Being charged to park wasn't cool but you're in ”downtown” Bend, everything cost money. Rooms were clean and made to order breakfast was nice. The staff was awesome. Scott at the front desk was super nice. We went to a concert at the amphitheater and afterwards came back, sat at the bar, had a couple drinks and some wings. Chris, the bartender was amazing. Funny as hell! He had a ton of local knowledge of things to go do in the area. We would have never known about the Lava Caves if he hadn't told us about them. He even stayed open a little later to accommodate us. In a day and age where customer service is almost nonexistent, he made us feel at home. You can tell he loves his job and is great it. The only negative things were no more DT cookies, and the internet was crappy, but the breakfast, wings and drinks made up for it. They should still fix the internet though. We will definitely be coming back to see more concerts and will be staying there anytime we are in Central Oregon. Recommend!

We stayed here while passing through the area on a road trip through the Pacific North West. Bend is a nice town and this was a great place to stay. It’s on the southern side of Bend and is only 10 minutes from Lava Lands Visitor Center. Hotel room was big and very clean. Would stay here again.
My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The night started out well while we enjoyed the complimentary wine and river views. Then the air quality became hazardous overnight as wildfire smoke rolled into the area. My husband woke up having great difficulty breathing. There was an A/C unit in the room letting in a bit of the outside air where the hose connected with the window part of the unit. And when the central air system would turn on, it smelled even smokier. With my husband gasping for breath, I called the front desk to see if they had an air purifier or at least a way to tape over the area where air was coming in through the A/C unit. No response - you cannot get help here after hours. We evacuated. Wildfires are an annual occurrence in Central Oregon - hotels need to adapt and make sure they provide properly filtered central air or air purifiers in the room. I'm very disappointed that staying here for our anniversary harmed my husband's health, and there was no one we could reach after hours for help.
Kkarynk156The hotel itself is nice, as the staff I spoke with. It was the manager that emailed me that could not help. Apparently there was a miscommunication between my understanding of being able to receive a credit on most of my stay. I reserved the hotel from a Wednesday through Saturday as my daughter was having a baby and I live out of town. Due to complications, I never slept at the hotel. I did a mobile check in on that Weds but called the hotel to let them know I wouldn't be there as I had to stay at the hospital. I did show up Thursday and Again on Friday to shower but ended up checking out on Friday in person as I didn't really need the room. I received a credit for one night only, so basically I paid over $1000 for two showers. Disappointed since these were unforeseen circumstances and I was hoping for a little grace from the hotel.
My wife and I went to visit relatives and go to a concert. We got to the hotel and we found the elevators were clear in the back of the building. Our room was the first one in front so we had to walk quite a distance to get anywhere in the hotel. They put us on the third floor so we had to take the elevator to get upstairs. We found ourselves taking the stairs down to shorten the distance, but you could not take them up as they were exit only. And we checked in with an AARP discount. Not sure why they put us so far from the elevator. Breakfast was ok but they ran low or out of items both mornings we ate. On another note we also had a family with kids above us that made so much noise running back and forth we barely got to sleep. I would probably only book this hotel again if it was my only choice.
We spent 2 days. The room as clean and comfortable. They only change linens every 3 days by default. I don't know if that's a covid policy for now or usual. However, we asked for clean towels the 2nd day and got them immediately. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Provided breakfast was minimal but good on the first day and some hot items were provided. The 2nd day had no hot items and very little of everything else. We actually ended up getting something down the street. As for Covid protocols. As I said the room was very clean. I did not see the staff remind anyone in the lobby to mask, and I saw quite a few came through not wearing one over the 2 days. I know this is not uncommon for most businesses as some non-maskers become angry and unpleasant of asked. However, Covid is serious and every business that doesn't insist on the rules being followed makes it harder for every other business that tries to. It also makes ones stay less pleasant as you have to dodge folks, pick when you go to the front desk, etc. I'm quite aware that this a difficult thing to do, but seeing one front desk person remind an unmasked guest would have upped my opinion and review.
GGuest UserRoom was very clean, bed was very comfortable for 2 people. The pool was very welcome at the end of the 95-degree days. Anita's Indian food truck (right on the property!) is awesome and convenient. Anita was friendly and helpful. Delicious! The cons: A bright light above the office shines into the room all night, and the curtains are too thin to block it. You also can't turn off the bright light outside your door. Better curtains, and a valence above the curtains would really help. While the ladies who cook and clean were nice, the men who run the place were about the least friendly that we met on our entire 24-day road trip.
GGuest UserThis place was great! Easy to check in and get to the room. This is a motel but we sprung for the top room, the honeymoon suite. This is not in the actual row of rooms in the main building. This is on the corner of the property in its own building next to laundry. (We didn’t have a noise problem). Good size room with a big comfortable bed and giant comfy chair perfect for two people to cuddle on. Very romantic. Flowers everywhere and candles were a nice touch. The bathroom was where this room stands out.. good size jetted tub and nice smaller shower with a rainfall head. Separate heating and cooling for the bath was nice too.
I was coming to a concert at the local amphitheater and called for an early check in. I panicked when my reservation could not be found. Whitney at the front desk was very professional courteous even though I was upset. She worked with me to find my reservation and arranged for the early check in. Once at the hotel and checked in...she called to make sure I was happy with my room and everything was okay. Thank you Whitney for being so nice when I was not quite as professional with you.
GGunterThe hotel was fine enough. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The services were lacking - no continental breakfast even though it was listed on the welcome sheet and the in room tv had very limited channels and poor quality. Would’ve liked to have had dish or satellite to watch more and better quality tv. The room was large but not clean. Big pile of dirt on the carpet that was obvious. It was an okay stay overall.
