Yukai Resort Premium Hotel Fugetsu

Second hotel visited. The facilities are just a neat ryokan hotel that is a bit old. 1 small bath and 1 larger bath in another building (This is a place where not only guests but also outsiders come to take a bath, free for overnight guests) There is also an open-air bath. However, breakfast and dinner are buffet style, and there are many kinds of food and the quality is very, very good. So, I went back to the hotel for the buffet.

ご飯はバイキングで品数もあり楽しめる。 ただ、お風呂が隣接しているスーパー銭湯が使える仕組み。スーパー銭湯は一般客もいるので、宿泊者専用ではなく、スーパー銭湯感が出てしまう。 目の前にはお土産ショップあり。

別府市内にあるホテル。ビュッフェは、大分名物のとり天や釜蒸しのほか、海鮮料理やデザートなど、種類が豊富で楽しめる。別館に大浴場や露天風呂があり、鉄輪温泉を堪能できる。なお、箱蒸風呂はあまり熱くならず微妙だった。団体客や外国人観光客が多い。

There was little information on the website about the superior Japanese-style room, and it was the only room in the hotel, so I wondered what it would be like, but it was very nice. The moment I entered, the entrance was very spacious. Although the sliding doors looked a little old, the tatami mats, building materials, toilet, etc. were new, and the whole room was clean. There were two 8-tatami rooms, which was too spacious for two people. The view from the room was great, and you could go out to the balcony. And the bath was the best part. The room had a cypress bathtub that could fit about four people, and it was designed with a hot spring source. There was also an openable window, which was great. I wish they would promote this more. I would like to stay in this room again. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were very satisfying. Also, when I made the reservation, the open-air bath on the roof required swimsuits, but it was apparently renovated in February and has been changed to a separate open-air bath for men and women, so swimsuits were not required. This open-air bath was also great, and a new washing area had been built.

This is a large hotel. The lobby floor is also spacious and has a sandy footbath facility. The guest rooms have a nostalgic feel, but there are no electrical outlets next to the bed, which is a bit inconvenient in this day and age. The buffet is luxurious. There are many types, and it is a rare experience to be able to eat steamed rice at your table. The hotel's own bath (not open-air) is small, but it is affiliated with a day-trip hot spring (Yuya Tamateho) next door, which is larger. However, since we accept groups of foreigners, it would be difficult if you had to combine the hot springs and buffet with them.

I used it on a group tour. This hotel is a pleasant resort, so it has all the facilities. However, the hotel's large public bath is small, so most guests use the adjacent "Yutamatebako" bath facility, which is available free of charge. By the way, you can choose yukata with various patterns. The guest rooms are spacious, and you can see the city of Beppu and the morning sun from the guest rooms. The scenery was very nice. Dinner was a buffet style, but there were many fried foods such as meat and tempura, and it was not suitable for the elderly, and the taste was not good. Breakfast was buffet style, but it was nice to be able to grill the fish on the stove and have it hot. The location is within walking distance of Kannawa Onsen town, so it is convenient for sightseeing such as visiting hell.

I went with 3 children. The room was a Japanese-style room and felt old in some places, but it is within the range that I can endure. There is also a kids park and a table tennis corner where you can play. The breakfast and dinner buffet was very delicious with a lot of food from Oita Prefecture. There are 3 baths, and I was wearing a bathing suit on the rooftop, so I didn't go in, but the scenery looked good.
