The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The dinner & breakfasts were amazing. The room was spacious with fantastic view！

Overall experience of staying at Seikaiso was very good. The location is close enough to the Beppu station(walking distance 10mins) and bus terminal is 2mins away. The best experience of this Ryokan is the hot springs and private bath on the rooftop. Breakfast is served per room on booking time with Japanese style breakfast. It was various dishes and delicious! The front staff/restaurant staff/general staff are all friendly and helpful. Especially at the front desk staff Urabe was amazing. He also speak good English so it was very helpful. He helped us everything what we need. 🙏🏼 We will definitely go back to Seikaiso again.

Excellent location

The room is alright with sea view. However the service of front desk staff need to be improved. The staff did not tell us anything about the booked private family onsen and breakfast place.

Very reasonable price

It is a typical modern Japanese hot spring hotel, not large in scale, not many rooms, and with a large bath. Yukata and toiletries can be taken in the lobby. Coffee, tea, etc. are also provided free of charge in the lobby. The private bath room we booked has a wooden bath on the balcony, and the sea view is outside, which is not bad. There is a water dispenser in the room, which can directly provide hot water, room temperature water and ice water, which is very practical. The food is standard, the ingredients are OK, there are barbecues and hot pots, and you can eat enough. The door behind the hotel leads directly to the beach, and there is a large Don Quijote nearby, which is open until two in the morning. It is simply a paradise for tourists. We arrived at the store at nine o'clock, and it was crowded. Maybe 80% of the tourists in Beppu were shopping there.

I booked a Japanese-style triple room, which was quite large, just right for three people, not crowded, and could open two boxes. I also soaked in the private hot spring for two days, which was very good. The private hot spring was right outside the sea, and the environment was first-class

The hotel facilities are average. The indoor air conditioner is probably not maintained and makes a squeaking sound. In addition, there is no bathroom in the room. You have to go to the large bath to take a bath. However, there are not many places in the bath and it is inconvenient when there are many people. However, the bath style is very beautiful. The only saving grace is the kaiseki cuisine, both dinner and breakfast are very good.

The hotel is very nice, with a public bath and a footbath in the room. You can soak your feet while watching the sea. It is close to Beppu Station, a 15-minute walk away. There is a large shopping mall across the road and convenience stores nearby. The dinner and breakfast provided are good.
