Read all the positive reviews so stayed here one night. The room is very basic yet $164 USD Without Breakfast. The most Uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced...Overused Soft mattress that had us sliding into the middle. It does not feel like a B&B...just a couple of rooms that were perhaps a former apartment. So feels like a college dorm. No comfortable area to sit and relax, no person on site...but you are Very Monitered by cameras. Although Giovanna has a pleasant manner, I did not appreciate her asking if I entered the room again after check out...I would not do that and I did not even have the key! Which she knew. This is overpriced for what it is and not a comfortable welcoming experience. I have stayed at the Excelsior before and I can happily recommend that hotel instead!

Very central in Bergamo Alta, the B&B San Lorenzo is a little gem that I highly recommend. Tastefully furnished, thorough cleaning, right bed and pillows. My husband and I stayed three days in the "La fille du regiment" room which overlooks Via San Lorenzo and the internal courtyard (nice little balcony with table and two chairs). Finally, but first and foremost, the kindness and helpfulness of Mrs. Giovanna ＜3.

Adorable B&B in the most ideal location in Citta Alta Bergamo. Easy to get to by taxi from the train station. Giovanna is a very pleasant and helpful host! The rooms are large, clean and well decorated with the "love" theme. Once the entry door from the street closes you enter a quiet medieval environment with the tower view fromt he courtyard. I would say here again!

Great location in the old town but quiet when you shut the door behind you. Giovanna was exceptionally helpful with her communications. Recommend.

Che dire, un diamante in Bergamo Alta! Stanza amorevole e deliziosa, pulitissima ed elegantissima. Posizione eccellente nel centro di Bergamo alta. La signora Giovanna disponile e cordiale, ti fa sentire a casa. Una splendida sorpresa nel cuore di Bergamo.

Viaggiare con due bambini non è mai facile soprattutto per trovare camere adatte. Questa soluzione perfetta. Primo: in città alta con parcheggio convenzionato attaccato. Un palazzo elegante e ordinato con una padrona di casa educata e colta che ti accoglie con un sorriso e con discrezione. Camera perfetta per noi letto matrimoniale e bimbi davanti con un divano letto a castello. Si vede una cura per il particolare e spazi sfruttati al.massimo e funzionali. Torneremo sicuramente.
