We have had many afternoon teas all over Yorkshire but this was definitely one of the best. From greeting by Eileen to departing we were very well treated. The food was excellent and the leftovers were boxed up for us to take away with us since there were many scrumptious cakes and tarts that we just couldn't manage. We will certainly be visiting again and since it was a gift from our daughter, she will be getting it on our wish list for future birthday/christmas presents.

A friend bought my husband and I an afternoon tea with prosecco at Tickton Grange. From the moment we stepped into the hotel the staff were exceptional, Eileen was amazing, very attentive and caring, nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon Tea was lovely we couldn't eat it all so they kindly wrapped it up for us to bring home. As this was a gift I cannot say if it was value for money, but the surroundings, view and staff made it very special, well worth a visit to this beautiful place. Thank you all.

What a beautiful setting for a wedding. The Grange catered for our extended family, and for those with dogs. Staff are very attentive. The brides party had a cottage in the grounds the night before, allowing them to ensure the final details were all sorted. They had breakfast delivered to the room on the morning of the wedding, whilst having hair and makeup done. The food, what can I say about the food absolutely amazing. Perfection on a plate. From canapés, to the wedding lunch to the evening buffet and breakfast, delicious. Best time ever. Thank you to the lovely staff who made this so very special for our family.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Outstanding non fussy service with great quality food. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely quality Prosecco. Nothing too much trouble. Roast beef perfect and monkfish delicious. Deserts delicious and cheeseboard outstanding.

My Husband and I went for afternoon tea today , it was absolutely amazing, Eileen looked after us so well , kept popping back to make sure all was ok , and topped our tea up many times . I would certainly recommend it , we hope to go again sometime, in the not too far future.

A wonderful oasis of calm set back off a busy road. The only negatives were the feather pillows and duvet. (I should have requested alternatives, which I’m sure they would have changed, but we were only staying two nights so we coped.) The afternoon tea was the best we’ve ever had, although more expensive than expected.

This is my third visit for afternoon tea and it was as good as ever. We had the most relaxing afternoon with a scrumptious afternoon tea. The staff were attentive but discreet. Plenty of good quality tea. The surroundings are well maintained clean and comfortable. Paul one of the owners came and introduced himself which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

A wonderful welcome from all the Ticton staff, especially from our host Eileen. We had a really lovely summer afternoon sitting in the garden enjoying a yummy afternoon tea. Vegetarian option very good and I would recommend a glass of Champagne.

Afternoon Tea What a fabulous 2 hours we spent at Tickton Grange having a special afternoon tea. They coped brilliantly with one of us being dairy intolerant and the other not. Billy was just outstanding, his service was impeccable and we were made to feel very special. It was also a pleasure to see the owner, Paul, introduce himself to us. The food was delicious, beautifully created and presented, and the bottomless pot of tea in a perfectly pouring teapot was excellent, all enjoyed in lovely surroundings. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back.
