A homestay run by the two couples is clean and tidy. The room has a bathroom, but the bath has to go to the first floor. The Western breakfast is good. It is about 3 kilometers away from Meiyi Station. After arriving at Meiyi Station, call the landlord and the landlord will come to pick it up; it will be delivered to the station when you leave. The room is small and simple, and it is glad that the bus toilet is independent. Before Corona, I was able to eat dinner at the １ F restaurant, but the restaurant was still not open. There is a convenience store in front of the station, and there is a 7-Eleven about 5 minutes walk, so I made a delicious dinner with my favorite side dish ･ ingredients and alcohol. It is also good to base Furano sightseeing, Asahikawa sightseeing, and Tokachidake mountain foot sightseeing. You can enjoy all the sightseeing spots with plenty of room for 2 nights.

I normally don’t do places with shared bathrooms by this was the most conveniently located accommodation near the train station. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how new it was and that breakfast was offered. I really enjoyed my stay and the English speaking staff. It is simple and the rooms are tight but it is worth it if you’re just trying to see the fields or the famous aoi ike/ blue pond. There is a bus nearby that will go by the pond and other sites. However the schedule is aggressive (only 15 minutes at the pond before the next bus leaves) so I suggest taking a taxi. They charge 7000 yen for 1.5 hours or 9500 for 2 hours since it takes a while to get there and back. Most taxis in town have this course that you can choose from.

Accommodation for family. The meal is a better impression than the price in the morning and evening. It is a large bath, but because of the day trip OK, locals and camping cottages continue 々 night １０, so you can't slow down if you don't come out early in the morning because you come to take a bath. It's a public inn, so it's not possible, but if you care about the local people, it's better to make the cost of bathing in several private rooms to make a bath for the guests. At night ８ I was a little joking with my child at the time, and I complained and the front desk came at ８ halftime. I didn't visit to confirm early time of family accommodation for consecutive holidays. One-sided point. I ran around in a slower time, but I didn't point out that there was no revisit.

Excellent location and breakfast buffet. The universal twin bedroom is a bit small and facing the wall of building across but is functional clean and well maintained. The front desk staff are friendly but can’t communicate in English. We had to use Google translate. Parking across the hotel is 800 yen for 24 hours so would recommend. Beddings are comfortable and room is clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet with sashimi hot dishes and ice cream is such a delight and is the selling point of this hotel. Overall we are very pleased with what paid for as now is non peak season.

I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time.
