Legoland in Denmark is too far from the capital. It takes nearly three hours by train and one hour by bus! When I arrived at the hotel, I saw two buildings, not on the same floor. The room types are the same as other Lego hotels.

The room is quite big, it can accommodate two adults and three children. We had one adult and two children and we felt that we were at a big loss! The hotel service is also very good. It is very convenient to stay here to play Lego. There is also a Lego hotel next to it that is cheaper than this one. The Lego house, which is a few minutes drive away, is especially worth going to, and is more worthwhile than Legoland. After all, Legoland is in many places.

The room was nice, one queen bed and one bunk bed. Two big and two small are just right. The breakfast is considered normal. There is a children's play area in the restaurant, where children can play, and adults can have a solid meal. The hotel's outdoor garden also has a large play area for children. Cross the path to Legoland. Lego House is not too far away, just 5 minutes by car.

The room is super big, breakfast is included, the morning is not bad, but more than 400 euros a night is really expensive, there are no facilities for children to play in the hotel lobby, there are children's play facilities outside. The park must be open until 8 o'clock, but the game is basically closed at 6 o'clock. After 6 o'clock, remember to have dinner in the park, otherwise there is nothing to choose outside.

The playground was big, and our kids had lots of fun. Also, the castle looks amazing and the room was big and comfortable. For us the adults, we enjoyed the buffet during dinner time, although the food was always the same. Great beer and wine selection.
Response from Property: Hi :) Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again some other time. Best regards, Jakob, LEGOLAND

Location: The location is very good, close to parks and supermarkets. The hotel is close to public transportation, which makes it easy to get around the city. Additionally, you can walk but it is not a good idea to do with very young kids walking. Infrastructure: There are two buildings with two themes (wizard and warrior) but only the warrior unit offers a reception and restaurant, which was disappointing and made us request a room change to the other building. It has an elevator and stairs with good accessibility for people with reduced mobility. Service: The staff was very helpful and friendly. In general, the employees were polite and welcoming. Room: The rooms were clean and the cleaning routine was also carried out without problems. However, the bathrooms did not have the kits commonly found in hotels, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower caps, and other items, limited to toilet paper, hand soap, and body wash. Breakfast: The meals had regular options of fruits, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, and proteins. Juices, milk, teas, and coffees were also available. Overall, they tasted good and the environment was clean and organized. Cost-benefit: Overall, we considered the stay to be good value for money if we don't consider the need to eat at the hotel other than the included breakfast, as the dinner was not worth the price and was very disappointing.
Response from Property: Dear robsonc378, Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at LEGOLAND Castle Hotel and hope to see you again some other time. We have noted your comment regarding the dinner buffet. Best regards, Sabrina , LEGOLAND

People go in places like this for the children, and the hotel companies know perfectly this. Then they overprice outrageously accomodations that are terribly basic and chavy. Legoland Castle hotel is one of those. Of course you have - this simil plastic hotel that looks like a cartoon castle. - Lego dragons and knights that yell at you when you cross in front of them - A huge room with a dark wood furniture that should resemble an old castle one. It is basically just that and plastic film that covers all the walls with Lego characters - Some Lego baskets disseminated around the hotel where kids can play - A nice treasure hunt to find a mini Lego set - A location just in front of Legoland park But you have also: - a basic horrible breakfast - A not existent customer service (I wrote a couple of mails for informations more than a week before and never received an answer) - A room rate equivalent to a 5 star hotel anywhere in western world - A restaurant for dinner that costs like a Michelin 2 star restaurant with a disgusting self service food (never eaten a more terrible pizza, and a pizza is very basic). Then: if you want to please your children with an additional experience in the Lego world, you can pinch your nose and go ahead. Otherwise save your money for something wiser.

Uncomfortably warm and stuffy in the room, even with the window open. There is no a/c in this hotel. The room was lovely and exciting for our child, but noise from other rooms was just a bit too much. It is what it is, but I would not recommend a stay.

Horrible customer service. Great location but horrible customer service from front desk. They don’t respond to email for days, and rarely answer calls. When arriving they were rude and unwilling to assist. Way overpriced at almost $600 a night then they charge you additional fee to pay with credit card

A very, very, very bad hotel. The walls of the rooms are decorated with images of knights, princesses, etc., but everything else is at the level of a 2-star hotel. The breakfasts are of terrible quality. The buffet dinner is simply disastrous, lacking even basic chicken and a good salad, with most of the food being oily fried items for children. The rooms are very bad with awful shower cabins. There are more decent hotels in the city within a 10-minute walk, and it's not worth overpaying for photo wallpapers on the hotel walls.

When paying 3 times the money of a central London hotel you expect a premium experience but you will not. American style themed hotel with LEGO styles wallpaper, mediocre amenities, boring bathroom, noisy breakfast of 3 star German hotel style. Extremely convoluted systems for checking in, register parking, breakfast booking, collecting pre paid park tickets etc. Save your money and book something normal and buy yourself the most expensive Lego set instead for your kids, it will be much more appreciated.

The castle hotel was such a great family experience. The theming is amazing - we stayed in a family room in the wizards castle. So spacious, with lots of lovely Lego touches for the children. The only feedback I would give is around the food options. With the park essentially closing at 6pm (gates and one or two places staying open until 7pm) the only real options for an evening meal were the hotel restaurants. Both the castle and Lego Hotel have all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants for breakfast and dinner. They serve the same food and are both very expensive, as buffets tend to be. This was ok on the first night, but as the menus didn’t change and appetites fell, it felt like we weren’t able to make the most of it to justify the cost. The only other option is to head into Billund - which isn’t far, but just a little bit of a trek there and back with two tired kids in tow. Everything else was spot on - so I didn’t want to mark a review down for this, but it might be worth baring in mind for a stay!
Response from Property: Hi :) Thank you very much for your kind feedback. I will take your feedback about our restaurant, to the right department, so that we can look into it to be even better :) We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again some other time. Hotel is amazing, One think that could be improved is breakfast -> could be more tasty. A lot of activities for kids with prizes (LEGO). Everything looks like it was made with lego bricks. Great location -> Legoland is just next to hotel. Please don't spam me anymore.
