It's a historic property, and very attractive with a nice pool. It is decorated very nicely. Staff was very nice and friendly. Easter Buffet was pricey. Did not eat any meals on the property. The room needed a refrigerator and a table or two at the very least. No where to put anything ... the nightstands were very small. No sink room in the bathroom at all.

Hotel is amazing. Rooms were great! Bar staff and cleaning staff was super polite and nice, BUT Front desk staff was indifferent and rude to several people in our party. There’s three that work front desk that really need done hospitality training. Otherwise it would have scored a 5!

What an amazing and stately hotel! We truly enjoyed our 3 day stay here. The rooms are smaller but well appointed and they made great use of the space. If you know the history of the hotel you can see why the rooms are smaller. The bar and lounge area is quite nice and Cora’s restaurant has a very reasonably priced cooked to order breakfast. The only downside to the hotel was the WiFi. I think the location of my room made it difficult to receive the signal on a regular basis. The staff did make attempts to reset the WiFi but I would still get booted off after a bit of time. No worries though if you are aware before your stay. We also spent time on the beautiful front porch overlooking the water. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great stay, great hotel and staff. HOWEVER, they have the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. No exaggeration on this! No sure why being a classy and well kept hotel they would provide cheap and very uncomfortable mattresses?
