We were very pleased with our experience at The Sanchaya! Greg and his staff were so hospitable we felt comfortable and at ease from the moment we arrived at the Ferry Terminal. The service and facilities were excellent..from the room service to the dining areas. Movie Choices were so updated and wide. Good quality toiletries and snacks in the room minibar We had a little miscommunication about a service fee and were so grateful that they patiently hear us out and resolved it quickly. Thank you Greg, Nawa, Madon, Wawan, Vivi and all the staff at The Sanchaya for a memorable stay!

Service was excellent. Staff are very friendly. Beach is beautiful, cleaned thoroughly. Rooms are beautiful. Food is tasty. Highly recommend, will go back again!

The hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish. Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner. However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top. In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

I had the best experience ever. The staff is professional and super friendly! They cater to your needs and even remembers your preferences and dietary restrictions, throughout the stay.

I have opened a special web page to review it. It is a very good hotel. The beautiful beaches and unique buildings can all be seen in the photos, so I won’t go into details here. I come here to write this because I sincerely praise the hotel's soft services. From the entire process of getting to the island to leaving the island, they are considerate and meticulous, and I want to be in front of you. This is a super five-star experience, simply amazing. Plus good food. Personally, I feel that the food in the hotel restaurant is no worse than that of several restaurants in Singapore. Will go next time. Stay a few more days.

The hotel with the best environment and service in Bintan Island. The hotel breakfast is delicious and rich in variety, especially the bread and juice are great. The gift bag is very beautiful, Miaomiao must take it home

The hotel is really beautiful! There are very few people on the private beach, and there are staff guarding the beach in the middle of the night. The tide is relatively high in the morning, and when the tide recedes in the afternoon, it turns into a large tidal flat, which is very suitable for catching the sea. The hotel is relatively close to the square next to it. There is an Indonesian restaurant where you can eat, but you can also choose to eat in the hotel. I especially recommend the laksa produced by the hotel!

The Chinese butler Edwen has very good service. The hotel restaurant is also very delicious. There are two choices of Indonesian and Thai food. The breakfast is also very rich. The hotel overall is great. I look forward to going there next time.

The five-star praise of The Sanchaya Hotel in Indonesia left behind the beauty of the journey - There is a hotel lounge at the pier - There will be a butler to assist you with all landing visas and luggage security checks throughout the process. You only need to sit in a quiet lounge, drink coffee or tea and wait. -The butler will arrange a special car to check in at the hotel - The hotel is very service-oriented, and every link can get warm and thoughtful service from all the staff, and almost everyone calls me by my name, it is really warm -Food and wine are the highlights of the hotel, order with your eyes closed, everything is delicious - There is a great white sand beach outside the hotel, which is very suitable for kayaks and surfboards (short boards are more suitable) The hotel has free ones that can be used -Although the overall decoration is not very new, it is well maintained I hope it can be a reference for my partners going to Bintan Island.

It's great, it's great~ a perfect vacation trip~ I can't fault it The scenery is superb, the rooms are very distinctive, the entire resort is well designed, one step at a time, one scene at a time, Thailand's Lawan villa area is surrounded by a lake, and there are some small houses, each with good privacy and their own Views of other small houses. Of course, the most worthy of praise is the service. The attitude and service awareness of the hotel staff is really nothing to say. They gave us the ultimate experience from the moment we got off the ship.
