Henson Hotel

Good stay here

It's a little far from Blackpool North Station, but the rooms are very spacious. It's not a super luxury hotel, but it's very clean and comfortable. There is also an elevator. The Henson hotel is a little far from the station and downtown, so if you have a large suitcase, it's a good idea to take a taxi. There are buses and trams running so it's fine even at night.

Awful! This place is a mess and badly needs upgrading. So bad I had booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night. There are loads of glowing reviews about this hotel, but it makes me wonder if they are genuine, as my experience was of a run-down building, very noisy, and musty-smelling bedding. The only positives were the lovely gent on Reception and there is a lift.

I booked the Henson Hotel for the location I needed for my needs. I was greatly surprised for the good that my stay was. Firstly the location was very good. Then the room, this was comfortable and adequate on the bases of the stars the hotel has recieved. The staff, Adam and his team were welcoming attentative and informative. Then there's the food delicious, plenty of it, well cooked and a good variety. Plus the usual cereals fruits, drinks and pastries. Some areas of the hotel are a little tired, the decor and some fixtures and fittings. On the whole this a very good value clean hotel to stay at for the money you pay. With a little polishing up in certain areas another star could be added. Thanks guys.

Stayed at the Henson in previous years as it’s always close to the pleasure beach, this year we could really notice the changes the new management had put in and can also see all the team making a conscious effort to work towards further improvements in the hotel, Staff are friendly polite and very helpful, can safely say we will be back again soon……also did I mention value for money! Thank you Henson for another great stay! See you all again soon!

Had a lovely stay at the Henson Hotel last week.we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful young man,who I believe is the new manager. Our room was every thing I was expecting, very comfortable and clean.will definitely be staying there again.

I hundred percent recommend this place we checked in smoothly went straight to our room it was clean and looked fresh then we went down to the bar they were supper friendly and welcoming and I even got a bit drunk and done karaoke if you need somewhere to stay in Blackpool for cheap please go here it’s amazing!!
