"Overall, it was an amazing experience, aside from a few minor issues.
**Positive:**
1. The location was good, although it was a short walk from town. However, there is a tram service that runs every 10 minutes, and the cost was £12 per day for three people, which provided unlimited travel for the whole day.
2. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to choose from.
3. The hotel environment was pleasant, featuring a nice reception and lobby area.
4. The room included a safe where you could store valuable items like your laptop and tablet for extra protection.
**Negatives:**
1. Our toilet bin was not emptied after cleaning, and they forgot to replace the extra tissue roll in the bathroom, which was inconvenient.
2. There were no slippers or facial tissues provided in the room.
3. The bar was very quiet, and we were so bored that we didn't visit again."
"The hotel room was very comfortable and nice. There is enough space for two people. And there is air conditioning in the room, which is really important in summer. Check-in was also very fast. Staff are friendly. "
"Great hotel. Although it is a good walk away from the tower, there is bus stops and tram stops outside the door. Breakfast was excellent and staff were awesome too. I didn't take photos can't believe I forgot"
"Hotel just outside the train station, but still modern, clean, smells really good. Front desk staff was great, room with great size and comfortable. Nice bed, cozy, good amenities, including a Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was good and plenty. Great stay overall!"
"The hotel has some lovely features, it is a shame that the bedrooms aren’t cleaner and decorated / upgraded more. Evening entertainment is a bonus and staff are generally very helpful and pleasant."
"Very warm in the Hotel. Some windows were sxrewed shut and some didnt open.
Bus and tram stop outside the Hotel.
Promenade needs council to spruce it up.
Reception was very busy needs 2/3 staff on.
It was a pleasant stay everything you need was in the room. Even a fan, which we needed as window didnt open."
"The place is old and has seen better days. Most Britannia hotels are like this, but I like the old-fashioned buildings. Our room was clean, breakfast was lovely and most staff were friendly.
The bingo should have been in the adults only bar, as there was far too much noise and human traffic.
It was great to see it busy, but not everyone was sober and respectful, so it was good to see security guards patrolling the hotel
It was disappointing that the spa pool was closed, as this was a selling point for us."
"Was there for 5 days with my partner and was our first time at Blackpool the staff and owner was really nice despite decorating and there lift not working you wouldn't have known by how professional they are 😊
Was a mix up with rooms at first but got quickly resolved 😊
Will be back again"
"The room was very clean upon arrival and a good temperature. Would go again. Right on Blackpool Pleasure Beach and near everything else. Also close to Blackpool South Station."
"Everything about our stay was fantastic greeted beautifully when we got there, room was lovely and clean, facilties brilliant, never a bad holiday experience hotel is beautiful, staff are always so lovely and the entertainment was brilliant will be booking again soon best hotel in blackpool didnt want to leave always a pleasure to stay there my son really enjoyed it wants to come back already you all take care be booking again soon could please keep me updated with the entertainment that's on for the rest of the year"

Ffun coupleGreat hosts, who are really fiendly. Great breakfast, great room. Clean and comfortable bed, great full breakfast to start the day off. With toast preserves, an assortment of cereals, fruit juice, tea and coffee..
Great location to all of the bars iin North Shore, very close to Blackpool North Station. Will definitely book again and highly recommend to friends and family.
GGuest UserHotel was clean, people were friendly, not to far from tower etc
pictures made hotel room look bigger than it is, it's very small. I paid for bed and breakfast, if I knew what breakfast would be like I would have skipped it.
U get small chopped tomatoes from tin which aren't even hot, would have prefers a real tomato. You get a small bowl of beans which is about a table spoon worth. The fried bread isn't even 1 slice or half a slice it's quarter slice . And 1 hash brown. Toast was cold aswell. Small glass of orange juice and coffee. Out of all that I drank orange and coffee and 1 slice of toast , couldn't eat rest. Others may find it ok but wasn't for me
Tv wasn't working and could only connect to WiFi in reception area.
Staff were lovely though .
GGuest UserHotel parking is ridicules, however there us ample parking right next to hotel £14.00 for 24 hours. Reception area was clean and tidy and check in was fast and straightforward. Rooms clean and they come with a fan which was fantastic. Beds were ok. Location was fantastic. Would definitely go back again.
SScottish travellerWe've stayed 3 times already. No breakfast facilities but never an issue as we prefer a long lie in. Really close to Blackpool North station. Short walk to all our favourite places - Abingdon Street Market, Funny Girls, Galleon, Soul Suite, Wintergardens, West Coast Rock, Cafe Continental (breakfast/ lunch venue) Little Black Pug and lots of other great shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs & charity shops. Easy access to trams & buses to various other areas & 10 min walk to North Pier/ prom.
AAlgoithmFirstly, the sign on the door says, ”Tudor Rose Original” - in case anyone was wondering.
There's not many places which are on the promenade for a family of 4 for <£40. We stayed in the quad room, which had a double and 2 singles, perfect for the 4 of us. It's a very short walk to the beach, South Pier, Water Land, Pleasure Beach and there's a Whetherspoons around the corner. The tram stop is also close by (South Pier).
The welcome we got was nice. Sarah and Robert were nice. We needed toilet roll, milk and mugs for the room which were quickly stocked. The curtain rail fell down immediately on entering the room, and it was taken care of quickly. They have free pool and fussball in the living room and we're playing energetic music which I liked. The bar is empty, but Sarah told us that bringing in alcohol was not a problem. Very nice welcoming people.
The room was fine. Theres always 3 things that I look for in a room:
1) Comfy bed
2) Cleanliness
3) Hot water and working shower
1) Beds were fine actually. I thought the mattresses were a bit ”springy” - as in I could feel the springs. But we all slept on them fine.
2) Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The carpet needs changing, and we found some rubbish (sweet wrappers) behind one of the chairs in the room that wasn't ours. Also the curtains looked a little suspect (?mould on them). Blinds would be a nice replacement.
3) The shower was awful unfortunately and what really let this stay down. The hot water wasnt the problem, but the shower shot out first boiling hot water, then when the cold water eventually caught up, the pressure dropped significantly and so I could only have a warm dribble shower. This may need addressing. It could be because we were on the third floor, but it was still slightly disappointing. We were given towels for the room too. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't work either.
All in all, for a last minute booking, it was a cheap and cheerful stay.

GGuest UserClean, tidy, and COMPACT accommodation. Used as a base going out during the day and eating breakfast and evening meals at local venues.
The location was excellent for walking to the Blackpool Tower and along the promenade.
The onsite staff were available, cheerful, and helpful.
Amenities were adequate. The en-suite included a GOOD shower, but it was NOT spacious. The fridge in the room was very useful for fruit etc. Kettle in the room for tea or coffee.
Iron and ironing board available on the premises.
Note that parking, one space at the side of the property, was an extra charge per night, otherwise parking on the street, or at locally managed car parks at various rates.
GGuest UserThe owner couldn't have been more helpful, travelling as a single mum of 3 boys I felt completely at ease to enjoy our fun filled exciting weekend, the owner Understanding kids are hyper and here to enjoy themselves both me and the children felt so welcome, which is unusual for us having autism and ADHD. I cant thank them enough for that ❤️
GGuest UserClean and tidy room, quad with private bathroom, 2 double beds. Blinds on windows instead of curtains and not blackout blinds, which left gaps in so people could see into room. Tv and tea/coffee in room. No breakfast available as no chef currently employed. £50 cash deposit must be given on check-in which was returned with no problem after room inspection. Well stocked bar and karaoke with bingo was played on Friday and Saturday night. Parking available at £10 a night but looked a bit risky out the back so didn’t park here. Reception not always manned and can be a long wait for someone to come after pressing bell. No hot water on 2nd morning so it looks like the early risers take all the hot water. For the price for a family of 4 over easter it wasn’t as bad as some reviews.
