Number One South Beach

Absolutely amazing hotel there is nothing that you can fault every little detail is taken care of. All trimmings , towels, fans bedding are high quality. Staff are friendly and attentive and happy to assist with anything . All the rooms I saw were amazing . Highly recommend . Breakfast choice and quality of ingredients is excellent.

What a lovely hotel, myself and my partner have just got back from spending a weekend here. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly lady who i think was the owner. She took us upto our room which was room 15 midsummer pink, sea view room with a small balcony. She showed us around the room and explained how the jacuzzi bath tub, tv etc worked. Then left us to it, the room was lovely, lots of little extra touches. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuit, sweets glass bottled water. Dressing gowns and slippers. The mega was mega comfy pillows were amazing. I didn’t get the chance to use the bath but the shower was nice. Everywhere was clean, there was a stain on the carpet but this didn’t affect our stay. Breakfast wasn’t to my taste but my partner enjoyed his. All freshly made to your liking, lots of variety from a full English to things on toast, and posher breakfasts like salmon and kippers. Also fruit, yogurts and cereals available. Tea , coffee, fresh juice and water. The gentleman who does the cooking came out to speak to guests to check food was ok, he’s the lady’s husband. Also a young waitress served us and she was really nice and polite. So pleased we came across this hotel. We will certainly be staying again.

On arrival the property didn’t seem 5 star. Nice but not luxury. Mid summer pink room had a very worn balcony which was so my big enough to stand. The technology lights etc in room not well thought out, the bathroom lighting very poor. The room was clean. Room not cleaned after 1 night, fresh towels lefts outside door day 2 but dirty ones not removed. Staff very accommodating.

We stayed here for a family fun weekend and it was an absolute wonderful weekend. From the minute we arrived to leaving the staff can't do enough for you, they made our stay the best we have ever had anywhere!! The hotel is immaculate and a really beautiful place to stay. From the room bed and pillows to the breakfast. The spa bath was amazing and both me and my daughter loved having one when we had been at the pleasure Beach all day. The location is perfect where you can walk to restaurants or pleasure Beach and a tram ride to the Tower and pier. We ate at a place called winstons and the food was delicious and again the staff was lovely. We recommend this beautiful place and blackpool for a top stay.

This is a lovely privately owned hotel with the most amazing hospitality and some extra specials touches. I yes well located for the pleasure beach and has great views of the pleasure beach and see. Breakfast is exceptional and cooked to order. Cleanliness is high and this old but modernised hotel is a nice break from the chains I usually stop in.

What can I say from the minute we arrived to the minute we left an absolute pleasure. Great Hotel, Superb Room with ensuite jacuzzi bath, TV in bathroom all lights accessed by control, very high end, plenty of free essentials, breakfast was spot on well above any standard, very quiet end of Blackpool and many great restaurants just a 5-10 min walk, on site parking and stunning breakfast room meeting area and bar you really couldn't ask for more, and most of all every member of staff and owners where a pleasure and so welcoming, nothing seemed too much, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning many thanks
