Oceansnest Guest House

Made a booking with this guest house at the beginning of January for the middle of February. They contacted us two weeks before our stay (1 week before we travelled) to say that they need to do repairs and that they had to cancel our booking. They agreed to give us a full refund. It is now the end of March and we have not had our money back. They are not replying to messages or emails now. Avoid this guesthouse. They are not honest and I would not recommend doing business with them.

The affordable rate explains the reason why Ocean nest guest house is in the state that it is. Other bad reviews can be copied in this review - even the ones from years ago. Seams the same cockroach family still shares the bed with you! Quite friendly if you ask me but was not to keen on a selfie!! The "one" staff member - Gamu whom I dealt with 3 times was friendly and did what was needed. Disgraceful that owners will subject him to such a run down facility Take note of the bad reviews guys, Ignore Personality clashes and focus on the repeat of the similar points. Horrible smell ! Stay clear if you have a higher standard than terrible or mandioca. Not even the Awesome views can make up for the failures.

Watch Out travelers !!!!! My things were stolen at this establishment and reported to Gamu , wich handled the matter in a no caring & unprofesional way . They also refuse to replace my things been stolen . Would advise other travelers to make use of rather another establishment . Place have huge potential but maintenance are not done at the place , due to poor management . Angie the lady working there is sweet but its unfortunate for Gamu who makes the place suffer reputational damages

We had an amazing stay! Angie goes above and beyond for her guests. We highly recommend this guesthouse and will definitely go there again in the future. Beautiful view of the ocean, quiet, neat and clean. Angie and her staff are the best!

The personnel were friendly and went beyond the extra mile to make our stay memorable. The room was everything we needed. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family. Off road parking was a plus. Pool and braai area were stunning

Beautiful guesthouse with an amazing view. The self catering apartment had everything we needed to provide for a comfortable stay. The staff was extremely helpful. The beds were very comfy and bedding was of high quality .

The room had a stunning view. Angie was very friendly. I was not crazy about parking arrangements. The parking in the garage can be tricky when there are many guests and I had to wake up guests a couple times to move the vehicle. The room and bathroom was clean every day. There was a very odd smell in the house. Other than that Angie was lovely.

Firstly the staff were so sweet and made our stay very comfortable 🙌 The view was beautiful, the room was cozy and neat. Everything was just so peaceful. I'd recommend Oceansnest and we'd most certainly book again 😊

We were well looked after. The King Suite could do with a small table and 2 chairs on the patio. A full DSTV service would also be good.From the King's Suite we had a very good view of the sea and would oftern spend time just obsrving the ships, especially on rainy days.Oh, you should serve breakfast.
