La Quinta by Wyndham Bodrum

The hotel was far away from the marina area, only way out was taxi otherwise need to walk uphill. The rooms were very average with a lot of insects in and outside the hotel rooms. Very very poor wifi and not suitable for old people as for the rooms need to walk on the stairs. The hotel common areas smelled very good.

Have just returned from a 7 night all inclusive stay at La Quinta by Windham. My other half has done a very comprehensive review that you should definitely read if you are thinking of staying here, so I shall keep mine shorter. Positives......The hotel is situated perfectly for a relaxing holiday, our room number 712 was comfortable and spacious and would definitely recommend upgrading to a 1st or 2nd floor sea view room as the view is absolutely stunning. There are 2 hotel jetty's with sunbeds and steps that lead straight down into the beautiful clear sea, but the majority of the beds seem to go fairly early. The lovely pool area has plenty of comfortable sunbeds and you will unlucky not to find one throughout the day. We moved ours onto the astro turf area about 10 metres from the pool and I'm so pleased we did as it meant we met the nicest, hardworking member of staff Hayrullah who could not have done more for us throughout our stay, so if you are by the pool during the day or restaurant in the evening, please make the effort to speak to him as you will not regret it...... The hotel management have a gem of an employee there who deserves progression and praise for his endless hard work and exceptional customer service. Negatives..... I'm not a fussy eater but I did struggle with the lack of choice available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The afternoon snack bar offered a slightly better alternative which unfortunately shouldn't be the case. Still to my surprise and shock the all inclusive drinks menu doesn't include rum which I have never encountered at any AI holiday before and hopefully never will again, especially when the rum based cocktails are substituted by vodka, so either keep a bottle in your room or be prepared to pay £10 for a rum and coke!
