Cocos Hotel Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Our trip was actually in April, I just failed to do a review until now. This was the most perfect vacation! Everything really was wonderful. My husband and I talk at least weekly about going back (and he's not really a beachy vacation person)!

Loved our belated anniversary trip to Cocos Hotel! Grounds, beaches, food…it was all fabulous. Very few cons: extremely hot bathrooms depending on room location, nightly entertainment was a bit pushy for participation & beach vendors were a bit much. Other than that, perfect vacation! Staff is wonderful!

This place is truly amazing, staff, food, beaches, and rooms, were all up to our expectations! Taxi services was exactly on time when needed, my wife and I had such an amazing couple of days there highly recommend Coco’s to All the couples out there!

Beautiful property with amazing views and staff. Food was amazing! Staff was amazing! Beaches are gorgeous! Nightly entertainment. You do need to be able to climb some hills and stairs.

Cocos provided an unforgettable experience. It looked lovely, the staff were outstanding g and it felt genuinely like an authentic Antiguan experience. Very highly recommended!

If you are looking for excellence above and beyond destination for couples with romantic vibes and exceptional service For me the answer is Cocos Hotel with its dream location that was private and romantic for me and my wife. Food was tailored to our diets. Everything was exceptional! I want to thank Kris the property Manger and the head Chef Fay for taking care of the details, and making our vacation memorable.

Low key and quiet vacation. Don’t be fooled by the rustic accommodations… the beaches and grounds are incredibly beautiful with lots of amenities and charm to make your stay incredible.. love the out door showers and plunge pools.

I’ve never written a review for any place we have traveled to but Cocos deserved getting a review. We researched numerous islands and resorts to celebrate our 15th anniversary and fell in love with Cocos based on their site/pictures and it did not disappoint. We had a sunset pool cottage with a private plunge pool and the views are even better in person. It was great to have the pool and hang on the patio when wanted to take a break from the beach. Speaking of the beaches, both immaculate beaches with crystal clear water to just relax and float the day away. The Valley Church beach, one on the left side of the resort, has a grill and bar steps from the beach. We had lunch and dinner several days at the grill, the food was that good, on days that we just wanted to soak up the beach and plunge pool. The main restaurant serves all 3 meals per day and all are amazing. Daily specials for breakfast and lunch along with a fish, chicken, beef and veggie option for dinner every night. Great appetizers, desserts and any drink you want available from the bar. But what made our stay was the service and attention to detail from their staff. A few days before arrival they ask you what drinks you’d like stocked daily in your room, if you need any dietary or food allergies accommodated. I have several food allergies and they were great about them. The staff gets to know you on a personal level and remembers your orders or preferences which made it feel like being home. The front desk can arrange almost anything you need; taxis, excursions, recommendations. We asked Jenelle if they offered any hiking excursions and within 5 minutes I was on the phone picking a day for them to come pick us up. We had eagerly anticipated this trip and thanks to the Cocos team, it’s one we’ll now remember forever. Too many people to thank but special kudos to; Anisha, Kerry Ann, Kerry, Jenelle, Steven, Avisha, Steven, the chef from the sunset grill (will miss hearing him go “ping ping” to let the staff know order was ready). If you’re looking for a resort to relax and reconnect with your significant other in a beautiful quiet setting please look no further. Overall a very nice stay. Based on other reviews, I expected a little more. Everything was "good, not great" or "great, not fantastic". If you went into it expecting a true "rustic, weather-worn beach cottage with gaps in the doorways, lots of walking up steep hills, lots of bugs (bc hey, it's a tropical island, of course there are bugs), staff trying pretty hard and yet sometimes don't meet the mark for good servicd" situation then you should be totally fine. It is a simple resort which we knew. Nothing was luxury AI resort level except the beach. The views/scenery were incredible. The water is so clear and calm, it looks unreal. Yes, we tipped on every service of drinks/meals/porter/housekeeping, yet didn't get the feeling staff really cared or were super anxious to please. All were polite, some were truly friendly and kind. Some played music and chatted w other staff/watched stuff on their phones in the dining room as we ate and made us wonder if the lengthy waits for meals were related. The food was decent. Nothing really stood out as being amazing or super delicious but again, I feel like they tried their best. The presentations were nice and the menu seemed to highlight local flavors and cuisine which is always great. It was quiet and relaxing and there was never a shortage of loungers on the beach... however beach towels or certain drinks ran out daily by the afternoon. Certainly wasn't terrible and maybe the things I mention seem fastidious but they're my honest impression. I wanted it to be amazing. But at best, it was just very nice.
