We had previously stayed several times in the hotel's apartments a few metres along the road, but this time we decided to try staying in the hotel in a deluxe room with Rhine view. Room was large. Although the balcony was small, two of us fitted on it. Breakfast is excellent with a cook continually providing fresh eggs and breakfast on until 10.30am. Car parking is in a close by private garage with large spaces which is nice. Location is great right on the river Rhine. Staff are enthusiastic and friendly.

Very beautiful Belle Epoch hotel. Great staff. Le Bristol restaurant offered an excellent breakfast and our dinners there were delicious. Highly recommend. Rhine River views are lovely.

A Gem on the River Rhine We discovered this hotel when looking for somewhere to stay near Koblenz. Service, staff, ambiance, breakfast, 1 meal all top notch. They also offer a free city ticket which entitles you to free travel by train & bus and discounted river cruises. Brilliant. Lovely small town, the hotel is within easy reach of restaurants, shops & transportation. 2 things of note 1) the cushions in the bedroom are too soft. 2) beware coming from Frankfurt as we did, there is a car ferry to take you across the Rhine which stops at 18.00. We had to drive to Koblenz 15km, over the first bridge available and return on the other side. Whilst a pleasant drive we could have done without it in the early evening. We booked via ******* so they are responsible for giving this sort of information. Another thing to beware in Germany, cash is still king. Several establishments refused to take a credit card. Not the hotel I hasten to add. All in all a great 3/4 day break in a lovely part of Germany.

Algemeen gevoel: nog veel te leren op vlak van gastvrijheid en gastronomie! Wij huurden een appartement maar bij aankomst bleken de appartementen in een ander gebouw te liggen enkele 100 meters verderop. Er is geen verbinding tussen het hotel en de appartementen, dus elke ochtend over de straat om te gaan ontbijten. De appartementen zijn netjes in orde, maar daarmee is ook alles gezegd. let op: geen keuken aanwezig. enkel lege kasten (zonder keukengerei) en een koelkast. Bij de appartementen was een grote parking met EV laders. Wij mochten deze parking niet gebruiken wegens 'afgehuurd' door een groep motorrijders. Hoewel de motorrijders pas op donderdag arriveerden mochten wij maandag tot woensdag ook niet in de parking, zelfs niet een half dagje om onze EV op te laden. We zijn enkele keren gaan informeren, maar konden steeds op weinig begrip rekenen van de baliemedewerkers. onze wagen stond enkele straten verder in een garage (wel veilig en proper) maar zonder EV lader. Om van de Sauna naar het zwembad te lopen moet je door enkele zeer ongezellige gangen. Spelende en schreeuwende kinderen in het zwembad, zwembad in kleine en weinig verluchte ruimte etc... van echte wellness is er dus geen sprake. Sauna en hamam worden enkel aangezet op vraag, als je gebruik wil maken van deze faciliteiten moet je dit dus op voorhand aanvragen ofwel wachten tot de sauna/hamam opgewarmd zijn. Ze komen het wel meteen aanzetten als je het vraagt. De hamam stond veel te heet, ... na 2 minuten moest ik er weer uit wegens niet uit te houden, mijn huid was vuur en vuurrood. Eten in Le Bristol was matig. (schnitzel als grote deurmatten, die krijg je nooit op...). Restaurant Le Chopin was wel goed, hoogstaande quisine, maar ook de prijs is dus navenant. Wel een aanrader als je graag lekker wil eten! Locatie vlak bij de overzetboot is wel pleziering. voor een leuke fietstocht en/of wandeling ben je zo aan de overkant. de omgeving is wel mooi om te verkennen.

This was a great hotel looking straight onto the Rhine. My room was a good size and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was fine, with a decent shower and breakfast was excellent, even though I was in a rush due to the usual Deutsche Bahn cancellations and having to change my plans.
I used the swimming pool, which was excellent, and generally enjoyed my afternoon and evening there. Recommend it!

This an old fashioned style hotel, lots of dark wood and marble, red and gold. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable with spacious south facing room with balcony (the Rhein facing rooms face north).
