Hotel L'Europe

Eenvoudig hotel, prijs/kwaliteit is voldoende. Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op de Rijn, daar moest wel extra voor betaald worden. Kamer was schoon, goed ontbijt en het avondeten was prima. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Locatie is goed, parkeren is een probleem, s morgens was er niet alles aan gevuld, avondeten is slecht bijv. toetje glas met banaan, chocola er over. Schnitzel was een leren lap, tafels te dicht op elkaar. Verder de kamers goed.

The rooms and the food were terrible. Even if a hotel is getting old, it has to be clean. We looked in vain for another place to stay, but that's why we had to stay. Had breakfast and dinner out.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind schmutzig und das Essen miserabel! Tischdecken im Hotel wurden nicht gewechselt und waren durchweg dreckig. Gastgeber sind bemüht, aber das Hotel müsste von Grund auf saniert und restauriert werden, sowie die Qualität des Essens gilt es zu steigern.

We were spontaneously in this hotel for 3 nights with half board. There were 4 girls and had 2 double rooms with a balcony and a view of the Rhine. The rooms were clean and simply furnished. The view from the balcony was directly on the Rhine, which at the moment has very little water. The hotel is located on the Rhine, where you can walk directly to the promenade to Boppard below, about 1.5 km! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the manager of the house took us with the shuttle bus to the Boppard jetty and also to the Train station, how the holiday was over...all in all...we liked it and we'd love to come back.LG of the 4 of us

A short week in Boppard, hotel L'Europe from Monday 27 June to Friday 1 July 2022. Package is 2 person room full board, offer from Weekendjeweg.nl. The following is included according to the description: • 4 overnight stays • Reception with a bottle of water in the room • Daily extensive breakfast buffet • Daily light lunch (soup and salad buffet) or packed lunch (to be put together at the breakfast buffet) • Daily 1 drink at lunch (beer, house wine or soft drink) • Daily 3-course dinner or dinner buffet • Daily 1 drink with dinner (beer, house wine or soft drink) • Including Gasteticket Boppard for many extras and discounts on activities and attractions in the area • Free use of Wi-Fi and parking at the hotel The extensive breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing, but was more than sufficient. We did not like the bread and rolls. We did not use the light lunch because we were not there. We did not use the packed lunches, as we did not find the food very special and preferred to eat something locally. The three course dinner was less than a 6 (out of 10). It consisted of a salad bar with soup (1 course), a plate with a piece of meat hidden under a sauce with some potato and a glass of sweets for dessert. The soup was very thin, but different every day. The salad bar was the same every day and unimaginative. The main meal was really below average. The meat was overcooked and therefore tough and dry. The sauce didn't look and came out of a packet. Dinner as a whole was tasteless, little and unimaginative. There was also a fixed weekly menu. The dessert really sucks everything. We got a glass of custard with lumps and chocolate sauce. But also another time a glass of fruit straight from a can. And another time a glass with banana slices with a dash of chocolate sauce. The glass of wine or beer was fine by the way. Our room was in the Rhine valley on the railway side. It was quite warm in the hotel due to the weather, but there was no air conditioning and we couldn't get a fan. So we had to open the windows at night. Fine in itself. However, both on the road (outside built-up areas) and on the railways there was a lot of traffic. Trucks and freight trains went back and forth at higher speeds. That made more noise than I liked. Sleeping was not so much because of the noise and otherwise because of the heat. The wifi only worked in the dining room. We could not use it on the terrace and in the room (no reception). There were more cars and buses than there were parking spaces. This resulted in parking at the neighbours. The neighbors didn't like that and threatened to have the cars towed away. The solution was to double park and leave the key at reception in case someone locked up wants to leave. Boppard's guest ticket was not offered to us. Not even asked

Just back from a lovely weekend at this hotel. Very friendly staff and spacious clean room. The food is simple but tasty. The breakfast is also fine. It was occasionally very busy when another bus with people arrived. Then you sometimes had to wait a little longer for your drink. It is also a beautiful area, although it is located on a busy road with a lot of train traffic. All in all we had a very nice time there.
