We had $1,000 stolen from our hotel room in Boracay!
On our last day, we went on an excursion in the morning - the hotel didn't notice and as soon as we left, they got into our suitcase, which had a lock, and without opening the lock, stole $1,000 through the zipper. They left everything else.
They counted on us not noticing the loss. The amount was large and these bastards couldn't close the suitcase properly as it was, they jammed the zipper in two places.
We reported the loss of the money to the reception - they hesitated, but after asking about the police, they let us look at the cameras.
There was a camera opposite the door to our room. The money was most likely stolen on August 13 between 9 and 10:40 in the morning, when we were on an excursion.
The employee was stalling while they were checking the cameras, and then said that there was a technical error with the connection, they did not have any camera recordings from 7-20 to 9-53 in the morning. At the time when we were on an excursion!!
After that we got up and went to the police to write a statement. We will not know the result - they flew away.
In addition to the theft, some of the hotel rooms are located in the adjacent annex, the rooms are small and dirty. Do not settle in the dump on Boracay Grand Blue Beach Hotel!!!

The location is very good, the beach is right outside the door 🏖️ You can play in the water and then go back to the room to rinse, but the decoration of the room is ordinary and the bathroom has not been renovated. Maybe you have a limited budget.

The best hotel out of the 3 hotels we stayed in in Boracay. In the evening it’s quiet, the whole party is a little further away. There is a hairdryer in the room. You can smoke in the cafe at a table on the sand. The staff is kind. There are many cafes and markets nearby. We really liked the hotel. Breakfast is included, good, there are many types to choose from.

We were accommodated in a room on the first floor, along which there is a path to hotels on the 2nd and 3rd lines. Someone is constantly walking/driving past. And also, this place is used for smoking, especially by barkers from the beach. Because of the gap in the door, the smell of tobacco constantly enters the room. Also, I didn’t like that smoking is allowed in the breakfast area. Instead of the booked one bed, we got 2 pushed together.
Location. You go straight to the beach, beach towels are available. Not a bad room, but needs some renovation. Edible but monotonous breakfasts.

Honest two stars. They provide beach towels, standard Filipino breakfast, new air conditioning. Mostly locals live. There is a water cooler. The hotel is located right on the beach at the third station.

Quite a normal hotel, we took a room with an original exit directly to the pool. Near the main street of the city, respectively, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance.
