Not a pleasant hotel. The area is pretty grim. My room had its curtains missing so the sunlight would stay in my room and people across the street could watch me sleep. When I told the staff it seemed like they were just pretending to try and help. I asked for a refund and to leave but they would always say “I’m sorry I can’t do that only my supervisor can” but there would never be a real supervisor there to help. 10/10 horrible experience.

The room is huge! The train journey takes about 11 minutes, but there is a bus stop nearby which is very convenient.

Apartment hotel, kitchen, refrigerator and TV are all available. For me, who is used to living in apartments in Paris, it felt very good and familiar. The room is relatively large, probably 20 square meters, and the clothes can be washed and dried overnight. A great choice for a multi-day trip to Bordeaux!
