Comfortable room with king size bed and en-suite with shower. Excellent response to COVID - spotlessly clean with contactless check in and out available. Lovely breakfast well cooked - best breakfast eating out we have had in ages. Excellent coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful - even coped well with a power cut while cooking breakfast. Would heartily recommend - hope to visit again some day.

Stayed 18/8/24 for 2 night stay in one of the lodges. Lodge was very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The spa bath and shower are excellent. The veranda at front is spacious but unfortunately had not been cleaned at all. There was large bird droppings splashed on the veranda table and outside of the large floor to ceiling window. This was unsightly and meant we couldn’t use the veranda table. The restaurant is really good, evening meal on first night and breakfast on first morning were outstanding. Sadly the second morning the breakfast was disappointing. We both had eggs Benedict where all 4 poached eggs were hard yolk. We also had afternoon tea which was very nice and well worth the money. Despite the ******* re veranda cleanliness and the second morning breakfast I would nevertheless recommend staying here and will definitely stay again.
